Real talk here
I hATE when people talk about how dumb Romeo & Juliet is when 1) they've never read it and 2) they've only read it once
I read it over 4 times and it annoys me when people mock it
Theres reasons WHY THINGS LEAD UP TO WHAT HAPPENED
Theres hidden meanings to things in it and things were different back in the fifteen hundreds
No i'm not sayings its ok what happened in the end.
I love the story but people just miss understand what lead up to the tragedy.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Totally agree with you. If you actually pay attention to the events in the story and also keep in mind what time period this takes place in, Romeo and Juliet truly is a tragedy. Not just a story about "two angsty teenagers who end up ki.lling themselves". -_-
(Honestly though Mercutio was my favorite part of the play. xD )

Someone needs to translate the whole dang thing into modern english so people will stop getting confused over the wording and will finally ENJOY THE STORY (cause you know how much gets lost on a grade 8 english class)!

Ironically enough my class finished reading it today. I liked it, and though some parts were quite odd but humorus, like you said, It had good meaning

As someone who's read it many times i get your point... But I hate romeo & juliet. It's (in my opinion) just some spoiled kids who think theyre in love and cause a bunch of issues. I get there's deeper meanings but REALLY? Romeo sees juliet one time and hes like "omg true love". the story just seems silly to me
30 May, 2014, 2:11 am
EXACTLY! We were reading Much Ado About Nothing in school and kids were like,"Its so dumb, bruh" but its so freakin hilarious like Shakespeare's great

Is it weird that I have fallen in love with Tybalt. I know he's a douch but my heart starts pounding every time he's mentioned.
o////o
I don't know...

@Pian: Yeahhh o3o;
@NoPeach: If they do that it'll still be the same thing and people would still not understand but it would be easier I guess
@-Sen: Awesome boo :>
@TB: Of course, people don't take it serious :y
@Cloudy: Yeah its annoying
It is ; v ;)/
@natendo: Romeo & Juliet is not Romantic, its a tragedy
But it is funny sometimes x)
@RedG: Well thats to bad sorry o-o)//
@Maple: Well yeah things were different back then :u
qwq)b
@Isaac: Yeah but if nobody never helped Romeo & Juliet in the first place, If the Friar never married them off and the Nurse had some sense to tell Juliet better, They would never be together
Juliet was a smart girl the problem was she was young and Romeo wanted to find love but it was more lust
So they should have never helped and all of that stuff wouldn't have happened- but it did :u
Plus when people are in love they do weird things to be with each other.
@aqua: Yeah Shakespeare is great qwq
@RedR: Nawww Tybalt was a cutie, I get it x'3

31 May, 2014, 7:57 am
I love these doodles. XD
Ah, I'm not particularly fond, to be honest--but that's because I'm not really a fan of romance. You do make a great argument, though. I agree that one should never condemn something unless they give it a REAL chance.
...I did give this a few chances, but STILL. Gomen. X'D
31 May, 2014, 1:47 pm
