Jaykit padded up to Trailstar.
"Hiya! Uhm, I forgot, so... when is my apprentice ceremony?" he asked. Bucky came jumping.
"HI MISFIT! HI-HO, TRAILSTAR! Newwings is my mentor now, right?" she shouted. Jaykit shrank back, embarrased by his friend's antics.

"Oh... Uh, hi guys! First, your ceremony is in three days (i dont know the actual term in warriors). Second, yes." Trailstar said slightly akwardly.

"YAY!" The two cats yowled, skipping away. Jaykit stopped and glanced at the fresh kill pile. "Crap, there's close to nothing in there and I'm really hungry...." Jaykit smiled. "Maybe if I hunt for the clan, I'll become an apprentice faster!" He mewed happily, slinking away to the clan boundaries.

"Trailstar, I added the finishing touches to the med-den." Gearpaw said trotting up to him. Elsewhere a grey and black kit walked up to Jaykit, "Hey there Jay! Where aw ya goin?" Tibkit said happily.

Jaykit froze. "Oh crap," he hissed under his breath. He started springing away, back to the nursery, leapt in, and pretended to sleep.
Bucky saw him breeze by. "Weirdo," she chuckled, following him. "What's up?" she asked.
"Ah, nothin', just... uh... tired," Jay said.
"But you just slept through a day!" Bucky mewled.
"And hungry."
