Jumping spiders are so friendly! :D Did you know that their eyesight is good enough that they can see themself in a mirror? They try to scare away their reflections because they think it's a rival. There are videos of this on youtube. There are also videos of jumping spiders chasing laser pointers and the cursors on computer screens.

Also there is a big bald spot (the pinkish marking) on galvantula's abdomen, which seems to reference the fact that tarantulas get bald spots after flinging their hairs. I think they should make an urticating hair bug-type attack. Also if you don't see galvantula as a tarantula, what spider do you see it as? I think it could also be like a giant huntsman spider. :D

^ I knew they had the best eyesight of all the spiders (with hunstman and wolf spiders being 2nd and 3rd best) but I didn't know that! Next time I find one I'm gonna go grab a mirror... XD

Good idea! They should hsve a move like that that gives some sort of status effect.

Like a crab spider, earwig, praying mantis, camel cricket (or better, giant weta) hissing roach with sound based attacks. .D.

We get a few praying mantis'es around here.
I still hate bugs but praying mantis'es are some of the few ill pick up.

What they need, is a pokemon that reall is based on anubis.
