My dad actually said "less drawing" to me in the car one day while going to school. We somehow got into the subject of High School, since I'm going to be a Freshman next year. He pretty much said for me to do more studying and less drawing. I understand he wants me to do well academically, but what about artistically? It seems like no one appreciates art in my school district anymore. I get we have Celebrate The Arts, but seriously. (cont.)
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Some of us in my district actually want to have an artistic career. We should have an equal amount of artistic and academic skills. I'll barely have time to study since I'm going to be in Marching Band. Sadly, Freshman can't have art class, because apparently it's too "crowded". Bull. I'm glad that my family and friends appreciate artwork, but school does not.
Sorry, guys. Pointless ranting.

Not to mention if you're in Marching, your summer ends early. August 4 is our first rehearsal, and school starts on August 25. It really sucks, and it's as if you continue into Marching, you're entirely dedicated to music. ENTIRELY. I mean, I also wanna create music for my animations, but this is a little much.

My dad doesn't even want me looking at DeviantArt 'cuz of "inappropriate content". It actually depends on what I look up, and I don't expect you to see me looking at di.cks anytime soon. You're not even an artist, so how do you know what's there? I know you're trying to help, but to get me to draw less and not look for inspiration is ridiculous. To you guys, of course I still look at DeviantArt, just when nobody's around.
