Mystery- Id expect you would. I dragged myself out of that dead girls shadow, so...

Rose: Her name was Sin.I remember.. *rolling around through the dirt on her back*

Mystery- Ah. I learn to forget the dead. It brings everyone peace, but i suppose i do owe that girl something...

Rose: *sighs* she was like a mother to me.. taking care of me for all these years...
*A White purrloin with v!olet eyes softly mews and approaches Mystery*

Mystery- Well, at least her death gave another life.

Rose: You mean Aloe? I suppose you're right...
Aloe: *makes her way to Rose and settlesdown on her belly*

Mystery- yes.

Rose: she's absolutely the best.. *nuzzles her child* I wish Artemis could see her..

Mystery- Ah, yes, Artemis...

Rose: Do you know where he is..? I havent seen him since the dsy we mated.. Diana said he abandoned me but.. *sighs* ive been patient..

Mystery- I presume he has sealed himself up in his own chambers, stressing over roses death. I think he feels he could of stopped it.

Rose: But... i alive.. Sin is the one that is dead..

Im*

Mystery- Ah, i mean Sin, forgive me.

Rose: so he'd rather seal himself up for that than be with us..
Aloe: ~mews sadly~

Mystery- No. I'm sure he would love to be with you. He just doesnt see it.

Rose: besides.. I believe Sin managed to live.. Does he not know about that...?

Mystery- Unlikely.

Rose: ~sighs~ I feel like a fling..

Mystery- You arent.

Rose: I feel like I am..

Mystery- Then go to him. Explain it isnt his fault, that there is no reason to mope over the past.

Rose: but I don't know where he is..

Mystery- In his room, in his house at the edge of town closest to the forest.

Rose: ~sighs~ thank you Mystery.. ~goes to where she told her to go. Upon making it, she stands before his door~ Artemis..?

There isnt a response, but the door's unlocked.

Rose: ~she slowly enters~ Artemis...
Aloe: ~trots in after her~ Meeww...

Inside, everything is a mess. Nothing is organised, all the windows are covered, and everything is coated in a layer of dust...

Rose timidly steps in, bringing Aloe to stand under her. "Artemis.. Show yourself please.. It's me, Rose.. I came to talk to you about Sin.." she calls out into the room.

There's a crash upstairs.

Rose timidly go upstairs, taking Aloe with her.

Upstairs, everything is strangely clean, neat, and tidy...

"Artemis..?" she calls, now beyond worried.

There's another crash behind a door at the end of the hall, with yelling and laughter and crying... it's a madhouse.

Aloe starts mewing with a panicked expression as Rose manages to sum up some bravery and go towards the door. "Artemis!! Answer me, please!!"

All sound stops as Artemis cracks the door open, poking his head through. He looks thin and his fur is duller and paler, but he appears otherwise fine.

Rose remains silent when she sees him, stunned to have actually seen him. Her emerald eyes water as she cowers a bit, unused to seeing him looking pale. She has an expressionless expression, having mixed yet it's set on one.. So confused, frightened, though it seems set on surprise, happiness.. Yet sad and angry..
It's hard to tell what's going on with her.. She's stunned.. Aloe, who was trembling beneath her looks up at Artemis, curiosity filling her violet eyes.. Rose looks down at her, tears taking over her eyes, and with a sigh, she suddenly glares in his direction. Before speaking however, her gaze softens into what looks like concern.. "Artemis.. I know you must be hung up over Sin's death and well.. I believe Rosalyn's death.. But, you have to understand that the past is in the past.. Sin managed to live, so you don't need to be hung up over her death.. And Rosalyn.. Well, the past is past, there was nothing you could to save me.. And I say me because you know it is I who was Misery, and it was I who was the child back in lavender town who gave you those poke puffs.." she sighs, averting her gaze to the floor. "Think about it.. If you altered that past, it would've changed all the opportunities I could have given you to have a decent life.. A life full of care, hope, and love.. If I didn't die I wouldn't have been there to be your mate, I would've forever been haunted by Hypno, and I wouldn't have the opportunity to have Aloe.. You've been gone.. I bet you don't even know who Aloe is do you..? She's this sweet little girl who's by my side right now, gazing upon a father she never knew she really had.. If you hadn't moved on and dwelled on what can't be unwritten, can you imagine how much happier the three of us would have been..? I've been worried sick about you, literally.. Many nights have I wondered if I was just a fling and left to be forgotten like I used to be.. I thought you had lied to me.. Mystery explained why you were gone, but I found it quite.. Unbelievable" she says, taking a step back while bringing Aloe closer to her. Aloe gazes sadly upon Artemis, then with the same gaze she looks up at Rose. The poor child looked confused, unknowing and not fully understanding the event taking place. "Then.. If you didn't let me die, I wouldn't have ever been happy at all. Again, I'll repeat, I would have never been able to be your mate.. I wouldn't have ever met you, I wouldn't have ever built this chemistry with you, I wouldn't have had this wonderful child that is by my side at this moment.. I would have never met Sin, who was a better replacement of my past mother, who just saw me as a money gaining opportunity. I wouldn't have ever truly experienced mating.. And I got it in such a gentle way.. And I appreciate that. Plus.. I wouldn't have ever been.. Truly happy" she says, looking up at him. "Artemis, please come back to us.. Don't be hung up and mope over something that resulted in something so... Happy" she says, tilting her head slightly and smiling. "Come back to us.. Please.." she whispers, though loud enough for him to hear. By now, her cheeks are soaked, and she's shaking slightly, nervous about what his reaction would be. Aloe, worried about her mother's sudden change, decides to look away and gaze upon him again. She takes a step toward him, and gulps nervously. Then, she opens her small mouth, and shyly says.. "P-Pwease..?" Rose suddenly looks down with surprise, but he doesn't know why...
(I get really descriptive when it's one in the morning, wow. Also, that may have not make sense, I blame insomnia. But.. In case you need explaining... Rosalyn is the girl from the cemetery, and is misery and Rose. I just changed the I to y and removed the e from her name. He was hung up over Kid Rose's death as well in a past rp, so yeah.. Sorry I wrote so much, I'm so bored and it's nearly two in the morning .w.")

"Also.." Rose starts again, getting over her shock and looking up at him with a soft expression, "You promised you'd keep me happy.. Being here.. You aren't exactly keeping it..."

"One more thing as well.. Just to help.. You yourself said.. 'Mourning over the past only creates more grief, and so often does.... sometimes it's just better to let something or someone go...' I'll let you think about that.. I remember those words from back in the cemetery.. When you paid your respects to that one grave.." Rose says, looking down once more.

Artemis is silent for a while... it's rather... unnerving. He then steps out of the room, closing it behind him, and she sees just how much he has changed. His fur is ragged and unkempt, having lost all of its shine and sleek gleam. It clings to his body, seeming to expose every bone he has. He looks almost like a walking corpse, and oh so very tired.... ''youre... youre right... I've been weak... moaning over the past... like a... fool... nn...'' He stumbles, his legs nearly giving out from under him...

Aloe runs over and stands under him, only to hold him up. Rose is now silent, for awhile actually, just gazing upon his weak form as if trying to memorize his appearance. "Artemis.. I can understand how you feel.." she says, going over to him and crawling under with Aloe. Knowing he would be extremely light, she gets up, carrying him onto her back. "But you can't waste yourself away like this.. Now come, let's take you to get something to eat.." she says with a tender voice, making her way back to the entrance. Aloe jumps on her back as well, managing to huddle up next to Artemis and fluffing up to share her warmth.

Artemis slightly smiles and weakly nuzzles the child. ''im... im sorry i haven't been there... for both of you....''

"It's alright Artemis.. We still care about you, because we love you" Rose says with a smile. "So.. You're.. Poppa...?" the white purrloin asks, her violet eyes looking up at him with deep curiousity.

Artemis sighs. "I am..."

The small purrloin smiles and starts purring crazily, then starts to nuzzle him. "She's been waiting to meet you.." Rose whispers.

Artemis nuzzles her back. "and i her..."

Aloe starts to knead his arm, softly massaging it and easing any tense spots he has there. "Are you okay Artemis..? Were almost there.." Rose asks, still quite frightened from when she first saw him.

Artemis sighs. ''im just... tired, i suppose...''

After awhile of padding along a feild, Rose makes her away into an encirclement of rocks looking thick and sharp at their tips. They are covered with ivy and vines of various sorts, and where one of the rocks should be, a tree takes it's place, it's branches reaching over the rocks acting as a sort of roof. Near the bottom of the tree is a bush, and Rose walks into it like nothing. Leaves brush against them for a few moments and once they are through, they make into a large space.. Flowers grow along the borders along with a few berry bushes, and stacks of comfortable looking leaves rest upon four spongey looking, mushrooms. A small pile of wood rests near a small pit for a camp fire.. Everything looks so perfect here, seeming to be crafted all together by the hand of an angel.. Rose makes her way over to one of the mushroom beds, and lays Artemis upon it. "What berries would you like dear..? Aloe will go pick them for you" she says, giving Aloe a short glance and nod before turning to him. Slowly, she starts to groom him, licking along his matted fur and making it even with almost no attempts. It's really soothing.. Relaxing..

Artemis heavenly sighs... ''Cheri and pecha, please... maybe a starf berry...''

"Yes.. Poppa.." Aloe says with a smile, then gives Artemis a small lick on the cheek. He instantly feels a wave of cool wash over him once she does so, making the soothing even better.. She heads off and searches the bushes as Rose continues to groom him, softly humming as she does..

Artemis soon falls asleep, extremely exhausted...

What seems like a forever peaceful sleep, careful grooming, and soft singing, he starts smelling something delicious.. It's scent tempting him to wake up and eat.

"mm..?" Artemis opens an eye.

He sees Rose preparing a sort of breakfast, somehow managing to stand in only her hindlegs as she uses her paws to move around clay pots and ingredients. "Hm..."

He smiles. ''good morning, Rose...'' he says as his stomach growls loudly.

Rose looks over at him and smiles warmly. "Good morning Artemis, hungry?" she asks, preparing a plate of roasted and fresh berries, along with a excellently cooked rattata.

Artemis chuckles. ''Quite a meal... thank you...''

"quite a meal...'' Artemis smiles. ''you must of worked hard on it...''

"I did, now.. answer me, are you hungry?" she asks, going over to him and giving him a nuzzle. She licks his cheek and purrs..

"i am.'' he replies, nuzzling her back.

Rose sighs happily, then retrieve the ratatta for him along with tye berries. She places them before him so he can eat them. "I tried my best not to disturb you last night.." she says, looking worried. "Did I wake you at any moment of the night?"

''you didnt..'' Artemis says, taking a bite of the rat pokemon and savoring it..

Rose sighs relief, then lies down.

Artemis nuzzles her again. ''Thank you... it's wonderful...''

Rose just naps, seeming extremely exhausted...

Artemis sighs contently, simply lying next to her...

Rose whimpers a bit. "Artemis.."

Artemis nuzzles her. ''shh... its okay..''

Rose continues to whimper, crying his name over and over..

Artemis continually tries his best to comfort her...

Rose's body shifts, and it changes back to how she looked like from when she was Misery..

"u-uh... rose..?'' Artemis nizzles her shoulder.

Rose shifts back to bormal as she jolts awake. "A-Artemis.. you.. y-you.."

Artemis sighs. ''i what..?''

"Nothing.." She says after a moment a silence. "You hardly have taken a bite of the meal I prepared you.."

(i know he did.. but eh..)

Artemis sighs.. ''i know...''

"E-eat.." she chokes out.

Artemis sighs and takes another bite...

"I want you to get back your strength so you can actually be with us.." Rose whispers..

Artemis nuzzles her. ''i am with you... remember to take care of yourself, though...."

"I have been, and I've been taking care of Aloe.. It's been hard without someone to teach me how to take care of her.. but I managed to do it.." she says, looking away.

Artemis sighs. ''im sorry i havnt been helping you...''
