my first attempt at clouds. next time i wont add the really thin highlight. it didn't work.

I've found that the key to puffy looking clouds is a large-ish hard brush at mid-to-low opacity to get the volume of the cloud, then a low opacity fuzzy brush to give it a glow and bring it all together.

This picture is a good start, though; I like the way you have got the colour of the sky reflected in the clouds - it really helps unify the disparate parts of the image. Well done.
