Jaykit was /still/ snoozing peacefully in the nursery, his back rising and lowering. Meanwhile, Buckypaw was up and alive, pacing around the Apprentice den.
"MENTOR! Who's my mentor again?" she asked. "If I don't get my mentor NOW, I'll SCREAM!" she yowled, her excitement over the top.

Newwings was sitting near the apprentice den and over heard the little she cat. 'Maybe I could be her mentor. I'll go ask Trailstar.' she thought.
"Trailstar?" Newwings called

"Ahh..." Trailstar sighed. "What a nice day." Gearpaw sat next to him. "The construction of the camp went quite well and quickly." She said. "So how is Tibkit?" Gear asked. Trail simply pointed over to the little black kitten pouncing at an acorn.

"Yes, yes, please!" Buckypaw suddenly whispered in Newwings's ear. By this time Jaykit had woken up, and was peeking his head out of the den.
"Tomorrow night is the night..." he mumbled. "Right? I dunno." He glanced at the leader. /I'm too shy to ask the leader when, he'll think I'm annoying./ Jaykit simply walked out of the den and yawned, looking around at the rather beautiful campus.

Newwings smiled "yeah that's the spirit! Lets go ask Trailstar together." she meowed

"Hi Jay!" Said Tibkit as he walked up to said cat. "How awe ya doin?" He said, trying to keep his speech impediment in check.
