I've taken to drawing scenes from my novel. ^^;
And yes, I am still into pokemon O-O
But... my 3ds is basically on its last leg. (The L&R buttons are broke, the 3d doesn't work and it freezes up all the time *fp*), so I haven't purchased X or Y.
I'm still using Black/Black2 but I'll always be a fan of pokemon.
(especially N.. <3)

As for writing, I write ALL the time. I've only been working on my art in the hopes that one day I can illustrate my novel series.
I didn't know you like to write too. Have you thought of possibly writing any books? ^-^
