2a) Dupes clause. I may not capture a pokemon whose evolutionary line I own.
2b) Shiny clause. Shinies are outside the rules.
2c) Gift mons don't count, nor do eggs (but I can't breed my own mons).
2d) I get to choose ONE encounter. It has to further the story somehow.
2e) I can catch HM users for non battle use only.
