Sorry to hear that ;-; I honestly think people do it to show your an inspiration to them but it's still kinda annoying to have your idea stolen.

You think flygons are overrated? just look around. Eevees, Eeveelutions. Your character is a pichu, you don't think Pichus are overrated? think again.

I agree, but if its inspiration, the least they could do is give a shoutout or credit for the idea.

Flygons are not overrated. The population of them is growing, and people are being unoriginal in the way they draw or create info on them. #MarySue is what alot of people end up making... like "Strongest thing evrrr " and such. you shouldnt really label a character as "the most *insert something here*" unless its your own species, then you can say "The only known of this species" if thats the case. The population ia growing, and i can't control that. But I only don't want people to,use my ideas because i want them to be original. So many wanna be's.. But it isnt nearly as big of a population as other pokemon.

Some 'Eevees' don't even look like Eevees at all
i mean the style is not what bothers me, but heck, if you're not going to make it look like an actual Eevee, then be creative and turn it into a species and you'll be loved even more for it :V

I always worry that i glorify my characters too much, but if i just make them plain cats, then i don't feel creative enough. It's quite a fine line that's hard to find the balance in.

i don't think i've labeled my characters as the best at anything but like when I give my characters something that's kinda out of the range of normal things i feel too cliche :l
