Second Jewel by Anne Chovy
California Chrome has won the Preakness stakes. That means he has three of the two jewels of the triple crown. I am cheering for him to win the triple crown, all he needs now is the Belmont stakes. Since no horse has been able to do it since Affirmed in '78 it will be no easy task, but I'm hopeful.

Good luck! I hope the horse really gets just as succesful as the one in 78. Makes me think that the world has gone worse since then.

great job, Love the detail of the dirt on his fetlocks. Also nice to see the black eyed susans in the back ground. Let's hope California Chrome goes all the way!

Thanks to both of you! I've been waiting my whole life to see a triple crown winner so I hope this year doesn't end in heartbreak again.

Ya know, I live near Baltimore, in Maryland, but I never really watched the Preakness, and I love horses.
