She was born outside of a colony, so she never had a ceremonial naming. Her thread & feather necklace was inheirited from her mother, who died shortly after Loriette's naming would have taken place.
Loriette likes to be called Rietta, & is very skittish. Due to having little contact with Ithiri colonies, she is very awkward around other Ithiris.

Fun fact: Ithiris use their antennae to signal others closer or away without need of vocalizing. They still yip, though.
