"Try it again, only concentrate harder," Galkamis instucted, his aged voice rough to the ear.
"I'm trying!" shouted Jade, squeezing her eyes shut in concentration...and frustration. Suddenly she groaned loudly and crossed her arms with a frown.
"I'm NEVER gonna be able to teleport!" She pouted immaturely. Galkamis sighed with his deep, powerful voice and put his paw on her shoulder.
"Look,Jade...I know that teleporting is difficult, but it is very important that you master it. It may save your life one day," He encouraged,"Now...watch again." With the faint sound of flowing energy, he flashed away with a burst of blue light. A second later he appeared behind Jade.
"You make it look easy...," She snorted, flicking her vast ears. Most Sky foxes had the structure of a red or gray fox,...

...But Jade had the structure of a fennec fox. Another very unusual thing about Jade was her tail. It was VERY long, about 4 feet long, 8 at full growth. No one knew the cause of her tail length. Jade took a deep breath and started to vision two feet in front of her. If she focused hard enough, she would teleport to that spot.
"HALT!"
Jade's focus broke and her eyes widened. Five guards were standing at the gateway.
"Can I help you gentlemen?" Galkamis asked politely.
"You two are coming with us," said the leading guard, his eyes emotionless. Galkamis stared at the guard for a second more before shouting, "HISAKOPAW!"
Slicing wind threw the guards back, knocking them of their paws.
"Jade! Teleport NOW!" Galkamis screamed, positioning himself to fight.
"Why Gal !? What are they doing?" Jade asked in alarm.
"GO JADE!" He shouted louder, as he summoned energy in his arcasitix root staff(I'll explain arcasitix root later). Jade to shocked to move stared fearfully in the eyes...

...of the guards.
"After the emerald!" One of the guards instructed, pointing her way.
"Keep your filthy paws of my apprentice!" Galkamis threatened, shooting the guard in the chestplate with his ball of energy. Galkamis would never hurt a royal guard, only stun. The guard was knocked over by the force, slamming into the golden gate. Two of the guards attacked Galkamis, swinging desperately at him with their thin swords. Galkamis dodged the swipes, fighting back when he had the chance. The other two guards charged toward Jade, turning her blood to ice.
"JADE GO!!" Galkamis shrieked, tripping a guard with his staff. Jade ran. It was all she could do. She knew very weak attack spells that wouldn't phase the guards. She ran. The edge of the kingdom came near. The kingdom sat on an extremely vast cloud. Those who couldn't fly would fall to their death. She spread her tiny wings and fluttered into the sky. The guards flapped their large wings with powerful strokes, catching up to her.

She focused, though her brain was swept over with cold horror. She tried to focus on a green forest, probably one below her. Yet it seemed different, what flashed in her brain. Almost alien.
Suddenly she felt power she never felt before flow through her blood, as if an energy surge had imploded inside her body.
She heard a devastating shriek from Galkamis, that sounded of pain, as bright yellow light engulfed her. She felt her body lose all wieght as the world went black around her. Then suddenly,with another flash of yellow light, she shot nose-first into the dirt of a moist forest floor. But not the soil of Aliquamis. She gad teleported to midgard.
