You know Marolia, but here's a complete map of that world: Darium!
So there's The grand and superior oceans, Marolia (green), Desintarr (red), Brenzo (orangeBrown), Alidan (yellowGray), Contari (grey), Laiyin (yellow), Ninciam (light-blue), Frongt (indigo), and Kotoru (blue).
History: In the beggining, each country thought they were all, but then they looked to the sea. When they encountered other peoples, they traded, with some: wars raged.
As you see, Empires have expanded their territories

Desintarr has a bad reputation, like North korea.
Laiyinians are very focused on defense.
Niciam is a cold place, like the artic.
Contari is a peacefull place.
Alidan's a very small country, but has to fend off Brenzoyans.
The Brenzoyans are obsessed with conquering other lands.
Kotorese people are very... feirce.
Frongtians are just weird, so neighboring lands gave them land in fear of being assaulted.

I like how you made each country unique, it reminds me of a world I created (except that mine was one giant island).
Also, Laiyin looks kind of like a banana.

Reply: yeah, Akantor was the final Urgent quest in Monster hunter freedom 2, but then Ukanlos took the the spotlight in _MHF_ Unite with the G rank expansion as Akantor's "Polar Oposite" They did the same with plesioth -Lavasioth-
