Happened with my brother and his Crogunk. If the patch doesnt sparkle its still a 1/4000 Chance. (Half if Shiny Charm is active)

OMG! I have a shiny furfrou from Mesuda Methoding! It almost took 1'000 eggs!

Once, I purposefuly knocked out a shiny deerling. Got 40 xp. I regret nothing.
In all, (including deerling) I've encountered 12 shinies. I am radio-active!

I had a Meganium and I wanted to have a Chikorita and a Beyleef too, so I bred it with a Ditto and one of the eggs was shiny! O_o Turns out the Meganium was Japanese!
