I'm not sure if I'll keep using this illustration, I'll try to make a new one though. Anyway this story will be told from Snowangel's perspective. Enjoy :D

Even though the death of my parents was years ago…I still remember it like it happened yesterday…
It was very cold, the cold wind just cut right through your skin. Almost all prey had left our territory in search for a better place to live. My parents were having a lot of trouble with feeding me and my brother Frost. They could barely find enough food to feed themselves, let stand food for two young hungry growing dragons. They started eating less and less and gave their food to us as it became harder to find food at all. They became dangerously skinny and very weak and I and my brother became very worried. We tried to give them some of our food but they would reject it every time. We were both very scared we would lose our parents, we could now even see their ribs. One day my brother couldn’t take it anymore and snapped. “Mom! Dad! This can’t go on like this any longer! You need to eat!” He yelled at our parents while tears were streaming down his face. Our parents stared at him with dull eyes. They were very weak, they didn’t seem to understand what Frost had said to them. “ I…I don’t want to lose you…A-and Snowangel…she needs you e-even more than me…pl-please…D-don’t leave us…” Frost broke down crying and stammering. (sequel) I had never seen Frost break down before. Dad's eyes became clear. "Frost is right...we need to eat...We...we can't leave them...They need us..." He said with a soft weak voice. "But Iceclaw...there's not enough food here...for all of us.." My mother whispered. She had become extremely weak and didn't even have the energy to talk louder. "That's why...we will have to...look for a new territory..." my father said as he slowly got up. "Are you sure my dear?...Isn't that too dangerous...with the kids?...I think Snowangel is too young...to travel so long..." My mother looked very worried. My father looked at me for a moment. "She can ride my back...Come on Snowflake...Let's go...We have no choice...I-if we stay here...we will all starve to death..." My father gently picked me up and put me on his back.

"I guess you're right Iceclaw...Can you please help me get up?...I'm feeling s-so weak..." My mother said as she tried to get up. Frost quickly ran to her and tried to help her, but he was too small. My father walked to Frost and smiled at him. "Here my boy, let me try to help you" My dad said with his warm voice and he helped our mom get up. Mother nuzzled with dad. "Let's go..." She said and we started our journey. We were moving slowly and a few times my mom almost collapsed on the ground. But, after a few days, we came in area with much prey. I could already see several seals in the distance.

The illustration is awesome! Snowangel looks so young and cute in this. :3 But the shading looks lazy, but I don't really care. It's just an illustration.

Thanks PSTP! And yeah.... I know the shading is lazy xD I first tried to make proper shading, but then I got frustrated and gave up on that xD

Aww, that was really beautiful... I like how the parents give all their food to Snowangel and Frost, it shows how much they care about their children. I can't wait for the next chapter!

@Sideshow Krusty I have no idea how I drew it. I'm suprised Frost came out so good. He looked so awkward in the sketch.

This is a wonderful beginning. I am already hooked! I did not read Snowangel's original story, so this is new to me. I am eager to read future parts.
