Opinion:
Your art style reminds me of mine. You do a rough sketch, outline it, maybe outline it again. Then color it and use faded colors etc.. You do a wonderful job on the animals, but you face similar problems as me, backrounds and size. You have a habit to draw the same size no matter the depth. I have similar problems. Try to zoom out more when doing that initial sketch. Backrounds might be better if there is use of some outline. Not to heavy, but not completly absent. Overall you do a pretty awesome job though!

When I say we face similar problems, I realize that might be hard to see with my current gallery but I had to take down my old gallery recently and my old art had similar issues that I'm trying to fix in my new gallery.
