Since Rozozo has his demon blood, he ages alot slower than most. He can be over 500 years old and still have the body of a 20 year old.
Basically, due to this problem, he has to watch everyone in his platoon die. Sad, Isn't it? And he has a soft spot for Aeroro. He considers him as a son.
