The dark figure watched as the battle raged on from the shadows of the trees, trying to predict the outcome of the brawl.
From across the battlefield, Notch saw the danger Carina was in. Taking the chance, Endermage struck him in the back, sending him crashing to the floor. "Oh no, Notch!" Matt exclaimed. Thinking fast, he threw one of his grenades. It came and exploded between Lee and Endermage, knocking them both to the ground. The explosion also sent the draw-string bag full of eyes of ender sailing through the air. It landed away from everyone else, unoticed.
The sound of the explosion caused Carina and Kai to stop and look. It was then Carina saw the bag. With Kai distracted, she charged aura into the hand holding Kai's wrist. "What are you-" was all Kai had time to say. Carina released the blast, sending Kai crashing back. With the speed potion still in effect, Carina got up and made a dash for the eyes of ender.

Kai sat up and saw what Carina was running for. "Endermage! She's going for the eyes of ender!" she exclaimed. Hearing this, Carina glanced back at Kai, then at Endermage who got up and teleported. Carina dove, grabbed the bag, rolled, and jumped up, her sword clashing with Endermage's as she appeared. Not wasting any time, the ender teleported behind her and struck forward. Carina turned, taking the hit to the side. She skidded back. Suddenly she felt power surging through her left arm. Aura formed in her left hand, glowing brightly. Endermage backed away "What is this?!" she exclaimed. Carina didn't reply but instead yelled and slammed her fist into the ground. The power of the charge created large, glowing cracks in the ground, knocking back Endermage as well as Lee and Kai who'd come to try and stop Carina. The others stopped mid-battle to take in the scene.

Carina stood up straight, power now flaring in both hands, the strings of the bag around her wrist. She took a few steps forward. "I think now would be a good time to either settle this, or end it once and for all. Either way, we've won" she told them. As Endermage was about to reply, she saw a dark figure out the corner of her eye. It nodded. Endermage looked surprised, but went with it. "..Very well...we yield...for now.." she replied and signalled to the others to lower their weapons. They obeyed and backed away from their opponents. Carina nodded to the team, who backed up and made their way to the temple. Carina was last to leave, keeping her eyes on the six, aura still flaring. She then turned and headed to the temple.

With the enemy gone, Endermage turned to face the dark figure as it approached. "Soul! Why did you enforce that? We could've killed them here, but instead they've now got everything!" she exclaimed. Soul ignored her. "You are all to return to the End, now" he ordered "What? why?!" Lee demanded "Are you questioning the master's decision?" Soul shot back "N-no...sir" she replied "Good. Now return to the End" he repeated. The six did as instructed, and left the jungle. Before he left himself, Soul nodded to another figure who returned to the shade of the trees.

"Carina that was awesome! How'd you do it?" Matt asked as they followed the key eye of ender. "It just happened really" Carina answered. They came to a large chamber. In it was a stone pyramid and on it, sat the fourth and final Ender Chest.

"That's it! We've found it! Come on let's hurry up and get it!" Peter exclaimed. Just like before, the key eye lodged itself into the hollow of the chest, opening it. The final four eyes of ender rose up. It was then they saw it. Ahead of them was a large stone door with an ender eye carved into it. The key rose up. The same purple beam shot out. hitting the eye on the door. There was a rumble as the door slowly opened, revealing another corridor. "This must be the way to the stronghold!" Void concluded "Right, let's go!" Viper replied. With that, they set off. Nothing could stop them now.

Some time later as they continued down the seemingly endless corridor, Carina noticed Peter was falling behind. Being at the back of the group, she stopped and waited for him. "You ok?" she asked "Yeah i'm ok. Hey look!" Peter replied pointing to another hallway. There was daylight at the end of it. "Let's check it out real quick" he added and walked in."Umm ok" Carina replied and followed him.

The corridor did in fact lead them outside the temple. The sun was quickly setting. "There's not much here. Huh? Peter what's up?" Carina asked. Peter had suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. He turned to face her. He had tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry" he whispered. "What?" was all Carina had time to say. She suddenly felt a surge of pain in the back of her head. "Lights out kiddo!" Sage jeered menacingly as Carina fell forward. She blacked out before hitting the floor. As Sage lifted her, the others arrived "No!" Notch exclaimed "Hahah! You're too late! Enderon will rise!" Sage told them, and teleported, taking Carina with him.
