Ugh, not you too! Am I the only one who knows how this works?! Link is never related by blood to his past lives, OR the Royal Family. He is reincarnated, which means his spirit is reborn into another life. If he marries Zelda, they have her descendants, not his. Like in Spirit Tracks for instance. Zelda is Tetra and Link's granddaughter, while (ST)Link is a normal kid with no blood relations to the Hero of Winds or Tetra. So it's the Spirit of the Hero, and the Blood of the Princess.
pyramidhead2 is wrong! but hylian is all most correct if it were not link being reborn outside the royal family. so ease you burden there they are not related :3
I had a theory about this once. It kinda faded as I got a better understanding of the series.
Anyhoo, Reply: It's fine, don't worry about it. I think I followed around 150 other artists since I first found you, and it only shows 99 most recent. So I understand how you must hsve fealt not seeing yourself there.
I'm glad someone else knows and appreciates Zelda lore as much as I -v- And if we're talking about the Link is Dea.d theory again, that is not true, and not a good theory. The Game Theory fellow obviously isn't a very big Zelda fan, who obviously didn't finish reading Hyrule Historia. Because first off, TP Link is MM Link's grandson. He couldn't have d!ed before growing up and having a family. If he's trying to get away with the "Link became a stalfos" theory, that's wrong too. Hero Shade IS NOT A STALFOS. Stalfos are soldiers brought back from the dead as vengeful, mindless monsters, but Hero's Shade doesn't even take the form of a skeleton in the physical world.. He's a golden wolf! Another thing is... He WOULDN'T have even turned into a stalfos if he was cursed in the Lost Woods. He was a child, and last I checked, children turn into SKULL KIDS. And lastly, he tried to get away with Termina being some purgatory Link went to after death simply based on the doubt that Termina isn't...
.. deep within the forest of Hyrule. But did no one tell him that Termina is Hyrule's counterpart in an alternate dimension? EVERYONE knows that! It may very well be the fact that Link didn't d!e because of that fall. There are stranger things in the Zelda universe than lack of physical gravity, especially when Majora's magic is involved. And don't try to tell me that the alternate dimension thing is crazy. We've seen that how many times in Zelda games? World of Light/Twilight Realm, Lorule/Hyrule, Light World/Dark World twice, Past/Present.. Hyrule and Termina are no different. So keep trying to tell me Link is de.ad. Because that theory is really weak.
