thank you two! i personally don't know how i got the eyes... sometimes i can just do it and other times its trial and error. for irises it was just simple shading. i guess though for simple advice would be let the eye shape flow and form itself. do a rough outline on a different layer and if you like it draw the permenant on a seperate drawing layer. (i use layers)
