It was actually kinda scary to watch that. I did like how his stub has a flower on it, though.

That, and every alternate-reality of fin always had a missing arm, like in "puhoy", "Finn the human" and "King worm" so it was only a matter of time :3
At any rate, he's got some wierd phantom-telekinetic limb power and the grass sword is probably that flower growin' outa his arm stump.
