I wish I knew why you're losing followers... You shouldn't be.

But how much you upload IS the reason for gaining/losing followers! Since this year you uploaded arround 18 drawings, okay but only a few where actual finished drawings, and THAT is the reason people are going to follow you. But since you post less finished drawing or just paintings with text, your followers will lose interest because they came to see finished, nice art instead of just random things.Plus dragonologist uploads every 2 days or even everyday a finished drawing or something funny so she will be noticed more. Quite logical, no?

Hasn't anyone read the description? He said he's ALWAYS been fairly inactive on Colors, but he used to have more followers. So why is he losing them now?

@Radiant Yeah. Actually, Galaxypaws' comment kind of offended me. I guess I'll just quit if people don't appreciate my art here anyway. Or just don't upload anything. I can't help it that I don't upload things often.

Maybe you should just stop caring about how many followers you have. There are plenty of people who appreciate your art. And anyway, even if you have hundreds of followers, most of them still won't comment/like/anything.

Don't you dare to quit. The gallery wouldn't be the same without my best friend. The art you do upload is epic! Please don't leave me...

Yeah. But I just don't like it to be unnoticed. I want more feedback on my pics. I can't help it that I care so much about how many followers I have. :/ Things were better before this following cr.ap was added to Colors!. It was easier getting noticed.

I agree. The Colors update was good, but they shouldn't have added following. It just ruined everything.

@Dragonologist I probably won't quit, but if the reason people unfollows me is because I don't upload actual art very often like Galaxypaws said, I think I'll just stop uploading completely. Because I can't help it that I don't always have the motivation.

@Radiant Yeah. It was good in a way because you don't miss anything people uploads, but in another way, it's bad. Thry should add categories or something. I mean like, when you upload things, you can choose which category you wanna submit your art to, similar to communities in Miiverse, then it'd be easier to gain more fans.

I know how you feel. And i dont know what to say. All i could say is this: some people could have so many followers but could have art that no one comments or likes on. But you have over 2 hundred followers and your art is great. You get more likes and comments that people with over a thousand followers could get. Sorry if this sounds confusing. And the people that un follow you are stupid. Some people will think to follow you because even though you are inactive you still post pictures on sometimes. This may make people excited to see your next work even if it takes a few days or possibly weeks.

@Galaxypaws It's okay. When you said that, I took it like you meant that I lose followers because my art isn't good enough and because I upload many text pics. Like I said before, I don't always have the motivation to upload things. I'm often feeling down. But thanks! That made me feel better.

Yeah, do not quit! Maybe Collecting Smiles is still cleaning up inactive accounts? If that is not the case, the people who unfollowed you are fools... I for one, enjoy every piece of art that you publish, even if it is a WIP. It is kind of nice to predict what the final product will look like. In the end, a good portion of followers don't seem to acknowledge one's art. It appears that the same select few are the ones leaving likes/comments. I personally care most about the comments and feedback I receive, but that's just me.

@Dragonologist It's okay. I'm not THAT upset, just a bit. As long as we still are really great friends, I don't really care. It still hurts a bit since I still see you as my best friend... But oh well. I know it's hard to keep a friend forever, especially on the Internet. But I'm sure we'll still be really good friends for a LONG time. Maybe not best friends, but still really good friends. By the way, I'm not a THAT great friend. Garson seems better. He's better at helping you and stuff. But still, don't feel way too bad. And please do NOT kill yourself... This will become better anyway. Your worries about school and stuff like that probably will too... Things ALWAYS get better after a while. It might some weeks, it might take many years, but whatever happens, never give up! You will be able to escape from the darkness someday! Oh! I noticed in the comments of Acchans game idea, (hope i spelt their name right,) you were wanting to make a game. It sounds pretty cool, make sure though you've got more than the story if you want to make it a game; fun, original gameplay is what we need in this age. I don't mean wii motion, or anything like that... but i mean ideas for systems... for inspiration, i recommend Kingdom Hearts series, (any one, look at battle systems, everything,) and The Last Story: wii, and Xenoblade: Chronicles: wii.
I'm planning my own video game as well... but things are moving kind of slow for me right now. I hope you have fun, though, good luck!

Ah yes! I'm so sorry about that, I've had a lot of things on my mind and I've been busy lately so its hard to keep up with the critiques. ^_^'
Hmmm....I've taken a look around your gallery. I see ALOT of potential in your art skills from the paintings I've seen. In my view I think you can do a lot more than you know if you put all you've got into it. I really love the style you use on the sea dragons.
However I don't see a hugely interesting variety of paintings that catch my eye. That's the key if you want more followers. I'm not saying your art is bad at all, I just think your gallery needs more art. That's my opinion.
