my mom yell up the stairs, "Hey Jess! Ready to go?" I jumped up, and said, "Yes! just give me a sec!" I saved the game and turned it off. I ran downstairs, threw on my coat, grabbed my wallet, and ran to the car.
When we got to GameStop I ran out of the car; almost tripping over my feet. When I got in the store I saw it. The shelf of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. I grabbed a copy of Heart Gold and put it on the counter. I shuffled around my pocket for my wallet. I found it and grabbed my 50$ GameStop gift card. I gave it to the guy behind the counter. He got the money from the card and gave me the game and the card. I smiled and said "Thank you!" And went home. When I got home, I grabbed my DS Lite off of my bedside table and popped in Pokemon Heart Gold. It played normaly for a while. I went through the intro scene and chose my starter. I chose a Chikorita, female. Awesome. I named her Hana and went on with the game. it was pretty normal if I do say so myself. Until...

It was weird. I found an Eevee in the grass outside New Bark. Right after I got the PokeBalls. I caught it. It was also female. I named her Ellie. Ellie was great, She was the strongest member of my team for a while. But one day I was playing. Right after I had defeated Whitney's Miltank I talked to Ellie "Ellie wants to know if you still love her >YES NO" Of course I love you, and I selected yes. A smily face appeared above Ellie's head "Ellie loves you too!"
I did't know if this was acctually in the game or not but I disregarded it. The game went normally. Except for one thing. Ellie woulden't evolve. I tried evolving her into a Jolteon but when I tried the thunder stone it said "Ellie doesn't want to evolve!" I knew this wasn't right but, oh well. She was nearly as powerful as a Snorlax anyways.
It wasn't until I had beaten Jasmine that Ellie saud again. "Ellie wants to know if you still love her. >YES NO" I selected yes again. "I'll always love you" I said to my DS

"Ellie will always love you!" That text kind of surprised me. But I disregarded it and reassured myself by saying it was simply a coincedence. But another thing I found very bizarre. Ellie had never fainted. Every time she was hit by a move that would've defeated her, she was left with 1 HP and it said "Ellie's love for you made her hold on!"
A few weeks later. I was out with my friends. We were in my friend Helen's car when... I heard her scream and I felt the car smash, I also felt my leg sha.ttered under another cars weight. I passed out. I woke up in a hospital room with a cast on my leg. I saw my DS next to me. I leaned over slowly and grabbed it. I turned it on and started my game. I was outside the Blackthorn city gym. I turned around and talked to Ellie. "Ellie wants to know if you are alright. Ellie knows you were hurt." This really freaked me out. "H-how...?" I muttered. Ellie knew what happned? Weird... I continued playing but Ellie stopped me.

"Ellie wants to know if you still love her. >YES NO" I picked yes again. A smily face appeared above her.
I played on till Elite 4. I was at Lance, but instead of giving his usual before battle speach all he said was "That Eevee of yours... Ellie... She looks sick... Is she alright?" He didn't fight me. I checked her summary. She looked sad. I exited and talked to her. "Ellie loves you very much" I went over to Lance and talked to him again. "If you want to fight me with her, so be it." The battle started. I defeated all of his pokemon until his final Dragonite. It used dragon claw. Ellie's HP dropped to 0. "Ellie can't hold on any longer... Ellie is sorry..." The screen faded to black. I spawned in a room that looked like the PokeCenter ER in the anime. I pressed start and checked Ellie's summary. What I saw disgusted me; Ellie the Eevee I had loved for so long... Half of her ear ripped off. One of her eyes missing. Her tail gone. I exited the menu. A text box appeared. "Ellie want

"Ellie wants to know if you love her >YES NO" I clicked yes. Ellie loves you forever! Ellie is happy! Ellie doesen't want to go... Ellie has died!" I stared at that last message for a while... "No... Ellie..." I'm not sure what happned after that... but I remember sobbing my eyes out.

After getting out of the hospital the next week. I picked up Heart Gold again. And played. "Ellie wants to know why you let her die!"
