I can't belive alot of people basicly trace stuff on here. The People who nothing of their own skill on can have about 300 followers!? I mean they just steal art from google and get praised. Most of us draw our own stuff and get no where near as many. This makes me angry that this happens. I would think that people who trace should have very little followers and people how draw their own this should have more. I have seen a lot of great artist on here that have very little followers. #mad

Yay I get a cookie *w* but i see your point. I guess people trace because they're too embarrsed to show their art to the public because it's bad?

also I know some people who trace art from other people that only get less then 3 likes on a pic & get more likes on it. I mean what the he.ll is wrong with this world

i second this very much. i've noticed there are a lot of tracers on here
i mean, hatena is known for stolen flipnotes; traces is its correspondent on colors. i'm a bad example to compare with because i only joined since christmas, but tracers get hundreds of followers, and i only have about thirty. even though i have seven hundredish watchers on dA, and had about eight thousand fans on hatena(im really sorry i don't mean to brag,,,), almost none of them have colors so it's like having the perspective of the unpopular creator, seeing the ones who take no real effort in their work and get positive attention out of it when the ones who do are left in the dust. it's awful.

Do you ever check their following count? Most of the time it's three to five times higher than followers. A lot of people are "Follow me, I follow back" kind of people, and "I like everything" types who hit like on everything. I'll admit I do that to help people get noticed.
If it makes you feel better, I give shout-outs to creative artists like you. ^-^
