The gist of it is this group is illegal technology dealers. They trade things like automatons, machine parts, medical devices and prosthetics for money. They have found a mysterious crate of opal cogs with strange writing on them, and are presumed to be very valuable because some team members have been mur.dered over them. Anyways, these folks are being chased by the cops and the people after the opal cogs and are constantly on the move through the Steam City. The roads are narrow and lined with peddlers, beggars, and the common folk. The aristocrats are above it all, literally, in a massive blimp
