AAAH I NEVER FINISHED LE STORY XD
Rarity, completely full of mixed feelings, ran out crying. Jerome thought that she didn't accept his feelings at all, and pretty much hated him now.
(WHICH BRINGS US HERE .3.)
Rarity is still un-mixing her feelings, thinking that ponies won't like her if she's seen dating him, but yet she feels pretty strongly for him.
Jerome, on the other hand/paw/hoof (ewe), is upset that Rarity hates him. (even though she dosen't o-o)
