Try drawing a sketchy base for the dog, and then you fill it up with the fur. I'm sure you'll see the difference. :3 By the way, looks cute, though very sketchy. :c

I agree with the other commets, he really looks sketchy but not bad ;) btw 30 min for a drawing is nothing for real artists. Even I had to take 32 hours for my best pic I`ve ever drawn. (no its not here in the gallery its a pencil drawing :P)
