You could always take a picture of yourself with the 3DS camera and and draw it to show us how bad it REALLY is.
I had a bad haircut experience...
I got a buzz-cut and I was use to my semi-long hair. Funny thing is... I asked for it. I didn't like how it looked, but it was. SO. FREAKIN'. FUZZY!

Your drawing looks cute tho xD Yeah, maybe get it wet and style, I cut my hair vERY SHORT but I wet it and it was fine. :D
