i know what you mean! (not telling u to) i chose cyndaquill. he was pretty good and i love my typhlosion! if your more of an attacker u should choose totodile or cyndaquill, but if your defensive and status moves get chikorita (im such a pokenerd!)

If you need help picking a starter pokemon then l will help as best l can. First off....if your picking pokemon based on their looks, I would recomend checking out their evolved forms to see which one you like best. Do you want a cute, cool, or tough pokemon? If you want Cute, then you might want to pick Chicorita. If you want cool, then you could choose Cyndaquill and if you want a tough looking pokemon, then you could also pick Totodile! When l played my Soul Silver game l chose Cyndaquill and she has been one of the best pokemon l have ever had! Hope l have been helpful and that this helps! I chose cyndiquil cause It was a strong attacker, my brother had the dual Version (SS) And i traded all the starters over there, THANK GOODNESS I DIDNT NEED A GYM BADGE D: But Back to topic, Cyndiquil was a powerful S-attacker, Toatadile was good at physical attacking, & Chickorita Was A Great Defense wall & Status inflicter, Im not telling you to choose him but, I'd Go with Cyndiquil :) In fact, i wanna play my HG right now! :D
