Two weeks for spring break? That IS crazyness. Spelled with a Y. Should be one week, tops. You only need that much time if, like, a large population of your school visits Europe then, and needs the extra time to fight jetlag.
On an unrelated note, Tigeroo, do you want a digital download copy of Pokemon Y? It can't make up for a lost X, but at least you'll have the game... and then couldn't lose it.
I'm sure only some art requests would be sufficient compensation. I know, it's a weird, random, (perhaps even creepy 0,o?) offer, but there it is.

It's just hope and attachment. Totally understandable.
My offer probably also seems too weird anyway. I gave a 3DS and Mario Kart 7 to someone (they really wanted it, but don't like buying things for themselves ever.) In North America, Nintendo had a promo where you could get a new downloadable copy of Pokemon X/Y with a new system. But she's admitted that she'd never play, so I'm trying to find it a good home before it expires.

On more actually related note:
Every generation of Pokemon, even if I caught the same species, I made sure to name each one a unique name, no exceptions.
Well, one exception. Which is Psyduck. Who is always Psyduck. Because Psyduck makes my face go all X3 , and can only be Psyduck.
But anyway... I am AWESOME at naming Pokemon. I suck at a lot of things and know it. So to brag about that means I feel very confident.
