i think you doing the right thing you should draw what you like and how you feel, because my dad wanted me stop drawing anime and to draw stuff that is better than anime but i told him, you can't make me, so dad stop telling me what to draw and now i'm happy, so i think you doing the right, and keep being awesome :D

I understand how parents can be. It's been a long process with my parents. It won't change overnight, but I still think they may be able to come around at least a little. There are videos online as well as articles that can help open their minds to the idea that people are people, even if they don't fit a certain narrow definition of "normal". There may come a time when they realize how wrong they were and have a great respect for you because you saw the truth long before them.
