I will not ask about the alcohol and I will not ask about the self-harm, however, when you feel the need to do such things, do you ever wonder if you could be doing something more productive? I always ask this to my friends who have become addicted to "certain things", however I refuse to shame them on it(it is an issue I understand). Rather I ask them what I ask myself really. This of course does not stop them, however, it HAS always made them contemplate over it, which makes me happy that they at least put their other options into consideration.
