Is anyone else frustrated when they spend 3 days on an awesome painting, only to see it pushed out of the "New Painting" gallery in 5 minutes by all the kids posting their Friend Codes like 3 times in a row?

I agree with timbo. At least draw something with your FC, like a picture of yourself or something. Or post your FC in the description. It gets annoying otherwise... -_-

imo, an FC is ok if it is part of an artwork... That's one crazy face there, I like it.

I totally agree with you. If you want to get your FC out there, incorporate it into a piece of art and leave it in your gallery.
