McWhiteRose ( @PaRappa The Rapper): "Well, at gym class I howl like a wolf when we get a point or win. When I'm scared, I wimper... everyone thinks I'm a freak now except my one friend, Lily, and my mom says I need to stop. I can't stop...no matter what. QnQ I really wanted to speak up on that..."

If you've tried but can't stop, there are really only two options that I can think of. One is to get a second opinion from a doctor in case there is a condition that causes it. The second is to learn to deal with it. This can be done by either accepting it and learning to ignore what other people think or by working on the causes. For example, when you're overly excited or sad, you express those emotions loudly, so are there ways to lessen how intensely you feel those emotions? When people are scared, they can scream, but it has more to do with being startled than scared. See, if you knew the emotions were coming (kind of like if you know something's going to jump out at you), then the impact is less severe. Maybe work on thinking about all the different possible things that could happen and imagining them. That could prepare you.

If you don't want to tell a doctor, then trying to lessen it is really your only option. Try what I said, thinking out and imagining things that will happen that could cause it and that way you antici.pate your reaction and stop it. To increase control, practice at home by yourself or preferably with someone else. Try to create situations like those ones at school and find the moment when it's about to happen so you can hold back. It won't be easy, which is why i recommend practicing at home because it's learning to do something that doesn't come easily, which is a type of strict muscle control.

It may not seem like it now, but it does get better in time. If you think it may help, you can write out what you're going through now on the "start here" painting and I can create a new advice painting.

Thank you so much! I'll write it out tomorrow. <:3
