Remember when Munin got way more likes then he usually does? His art was even advertised on the eshop and app store, I wish more people recognized him. :(
You are all too kind, as usual. :) @Twarda: I use an old record bag with soldering wire sewn into the hem to make a bag that can also double up as a little tent I can manipulate the shape of. ;)
@Joe L: Hehe... I'm not really bothered about 'likes', or stars etc... although I do like to dish them out myself, as others appreciate it. Comments are much more encouraging, and receiving a comment from someone who has continually encouraged me over the years is worth more than a sack of stars, to me. ;)
@Buck_7: Not sure, but assume some of the example paintings I did for the 3DS may have been used for the eshop ad. They were used for most of the early reviews and press stuff.
I don't really 'plan out' my sketches. I may find a landscape view when I'm out and about that I wish to make a record of, or find interesting, but once I start, I tend to take the basics from the scene to block in, and then have faith in my big brush strokes to inform how I take things further. It's a technique that involves training your brain and subconscious to do half the work, and then having the guts to trust that intuition. Sometimes it fails, but that's half the fun. :D
@Acchan: Sorry, but I don't have a 3DS anymore. I wasn't suited to the lack of pressure sensitivity anyway... not on a tiny handheld! I'm 38 and have been painting digitally in my spare time for about 76 years.
Amazing. This is such refreshing departure from your other work... Not that your other work is not 'refreshing'... Bah! You know what i mean! LOL Always something new with you, man, and you execute with such a great touch.
@Munin Very strong light effect with the cast shadow. Regarding your comment about pressure, is the main point to vary the transparency, or the size with the pressure? Have you ever tried the Android or IOS versions?

I'm curious how do you manage to paint during a sunny weather? (It doesn't look like an electric light)

Probably because nobody uses a DS anymore, you can actually paint some pretty good stuff on that.

Wow, was his art really advertised on the e shop? I stil use colors on my DS, I don't think there are many people who still use a DS though.
