Araxia had to wear an eyepatch when she was younger because Deermom made her. When she grew up she finally came out and said she never liked it, and now covers her eye with her hair

(Deermom was really strict with manners when Araxia was a wriggler, more than she is now. She's the one that gave Araxia her scar, but she later on regretted it)
