so there was this story that Din, Nayru and Farore had a little sister-goddess named Mai. She was incredibly cruel. She worshipped dark and insisted that ruling an iron fist was right. She was banned and created the dark realm/world... and tricked a boy named Rift to do her biddings by seducing him. He was an enemy of Link, Zelda and Ganon. He wanted hyrule for himself for Mai.
