Let's Help Matt! by Bully Free Zone

@MC-Matt: "Although I don't talk about it much, I am bullied frequently. It's more of a mental thing than physical. Most of the bullying is due to my reputation of not playing sports and hanging out with people who are considered "nerdy". Most of the bullying is exclusion and people ignoring me and my thoughts. I'm constantly put lower than others and people don't even pay attention to me except my few good friends. Thank you for your time."

Honestly, if they're ignoring you and treating you poorly because of who you hang around or not playing sports, they're probably not the kinds of people ypu'd actually want paying attention to you, because it might not be positive attention. You have a few good friends and that really helps because it's better to have a few true friends than a huge number of casual "friends". They also might be sensing that you're not like them. Maybe you understand the world or care about things and that's something so many people just don't do very much. Don't look at them as putting you lower than them, but as them thinking they're superior, which obviously they're not. It doesn't really matter what they think about you and think of it this way: At least you don't have to worry about peer pressure. You already know you'd never want to fit in with the cold and unfeeling crowd. Just keep being yourself. :D

So... they call you a nerd?
Guess what.
Being a nerd is awesome.
It isn't about having glasses or being smart.
It's about liking whatever you want to like without having to care about how much you like it.
So really, they're saying "you like stuff." That's a sucky insult.
And if you aren't one...
Become one.

Matt, your situation reminds me of my case right now. First things first, them calling you a nerd is showing that they are simply jealous of an apparent virtue you posses... they see something in you that they have not had, and are envious that they will never exude that amazing part of you. Don't let it get you down :) Never hate those who are jealous of you, instead, respect their jealousy. They're people who think that you are better than them. I suggest you just keep hanging with your true friends, and never change yourself for someone- that is giving them power; and power is the root of all evil.

^ Sonic, your account got deleted... I tried to upload your painting, but this weird colors glitch often happens, and it deletes the description. Please don't assume things! If you wanted help, you shouldn't be so demanding! I was simply trying to help you! :'(

It isn't really them calling me a nerd. I'm honestly proud of that. It's more of the exclusion and them constantly putting me lower on the social class. Sure, when no one else is around they're nice and will be with me, but if anyone else comes by they will just desert me and not talk. Basically pretending I'm not their friend which I know they consider me. I guess they just think it's not cool or whatever to be my friend. :/
