Here's a tut for portraits. This covers the basics and facial relativity. I'll do a step by step portrait tut next time. I hope it's useful!---
I spelled Demonstrate wrong. I got distracted and didn't notice in time. haha. Sorry about the handwriting.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Your tutorials are always helpful. I definately know that I have made plenty of mistakes on hair, teeth, and the general face proportions. Well thanks, I will try to use what I learned.

nice tutorial, I seem to have difficulties with proportions so it's good to have a reminder and I'm sure this will be helpful to a lot of people

The medical term for what you call "Cupid's bow" is "philtrum". Sorry, I read *WAY* too many trivia books........... I'll go back to my corner now...

nostrils, just ugh, for me. thats mostly what im stuck on at the moment (among other things) in a portrait im doing of a charcter in a game i really like (cullen from dragon age anyone? lol). its a mixed media, where im using colored pencils, charcoal, and pencil. if i manage to do it the way i want... its gonna look cool. lol its fun, and challenging for me. so far i have a brow, eye, and an outline of the bridge of the nose started (and tentativly the left eyelid, but... yeah). it mostly just started out as me playing around with the charcoal pencils my mother bought for a project of hers. aint i a stinker for stealing her stuff. >w<
