it does. about the whole Nebula thing. i hate having to change her, shes just not Nebula anymore. but i see alot of characters that look just like her! they even copied the eye color! ... i really liked the simple design and how i could draw her whenever i get bored. i like the new design, but it just doesnt feel right to me changing an OCs design. i feel like this new one needs a new name. because its not Neb. R.I.P. Nebula. :( it just makes me kinda mad to see all those paintings

Hmm. This is a toughie.
Looking at Nebula's design, it seems pretty common to me. But its /because/ its so easy to draw that its common. I saw right away that Nebula looked like my male fursona, #Harke. In fact, when I first drew him, I saw many wolves after that looked very much like him and I thought they were copies. But its just such a basic, simple and somewhat realistic pattern, lots of people think of it and use it. Personally, I just wanted an easy to draw male fursona, since my female fursona, Lexyyah, was rather complex.
As for eye colour... Blue is a common eye colour for wolves and canines. Its probably the most common colour eyes drawn here on Colors and probably everywhere else, really.
TL:DR: When you pick a design that simple and common, you cant just expect that its all yours and everyone else who draws something similar is copying. Maybe some people /are/ copying you. But all I'm saying is you cant claim a common idea and get mad when people get the same one.

yeah i know, its not that i get mad i guess, it just kind of bugs me. :p i have thought about maybe reversing her colors, make her body black with white. thanks though :3
