Yoshi, explanation, Yoshi is, mainly, a SHE, one, Males dont lay eggs, but with an exception. How to tell a Male Yoshi from a Female, Males, have more head spikes than a female, Females are the only ones that can lay eggs that can hold baby Yoshi's. Name calls can also be told Male from Female, Yoshi's pronounce their names depending on their gender, "Yo-shi" for females, "Yo-hi" for males, after the "Yo" should sound like "He" or "She"

ok, to the artist, i like ur painting, its great. but i dont think thers a scientific protocal (two big fancy words) for yoshis. its just a vid game. also think about it - if it was a girl they wudav givn some kind of indication, like a bow or eye lashes. also they all have three spikes, and i think ur reading too much into this. (still luv the painting though)

I drew the same pic. also I have noticed that some yoshis say "yohi" but I didnt think it meant anything. Its cool that you know so much about yoshi!!

Good picture, but it annoys me that you say Yoshi is a "she". In EVERY Nintendo game ever made with him in it, it obviously says "he". As for Yoshi being a female name... explain the Japanese wrestler with the name Yoshi Tatsu.
