Beo is a woman who's been cursed with the powers to turn into a wolf. Every once in a while, she loses control over her transformation, but she generally has power over it. She's very stern and serious, not allowing anyone to goof off when there's work to be done, but she's also sort of like a motherly figure. She's trained her friends how to defend themselves and often deals with whatever troublesome situation her friends manage to dig up.
