Took me 3 days to get rid of a spider. The first day, my dad tried to catch it and failed. It became wary of humans. The second day, I attempted to peacefully trap it in a cup (out of fear). I failed, knowing that it would be even more cautions (and that I was being way too wimpy). The third day, I saw it by my closet and slammed a textbook against the wall. Success, though I never liked hurting things, let alone ki.lling them.

There were actually a few in-between days where I never saw the spider, btw.
