This is Date Fuyuhiko (The Doctor) in case you were wondering. I have this headcanon that when he was a kid he was obsessed with pokemon and could beat anyone with his Venusaur. In my headcanon he likes a girl (a fellow science geek) and tries to impress her with his Pokemon skills. Of course, she doesn't care. They never really grow close, but they are somewhat friends and throughout their school life he tries to flirt with her.

I was listening to this song called
"Somos Libres" by Sore which inspired me to draw him... and I thought "Hey! This is a great idea!" I just kinda kept drawing him the whole day... :)
