I don't really believe in this stuff, but sometimes when I try and sleep, it feels like someone is poking me! IDK whether it's a spirit or not but I usually freak out a little. I think the best thing to do is to just keep respecting them but when you sleep, don't worry too much about it.
Yah, I'll hear whispers in my ear sometimes, I've seen shadows flicker and figures that will just disappear after I blink. It's really freaking me out. T^T
This kind of stuff is kind of hard to deal with in that there is both a paranormal explanation and a scientific one. When you go to sleep, the brain paralyzes the body so that you don't act out your dreams and harm yourself. Sometimes you'll wake up in the middle of the night to find yourself paralyzed and this is because there has been miscommunication between your brain and your body. It can cause hallucinations, and hearing things, practically bringing dreams into reality for a short period. However, there could also be spirits in which case if it's a spirit you need to figure out what you did to upset it. If it's a demon you need to get someone qualified to cleanse and bless the house.
It's most likely the scientific explanation like what was just stated before me. As embarrassing as it sounds, this has happened to me several times. lol ^_^;
I'm pretty sure it's not demons or spirits bothering you, but if you're really sure that it is, ask your parents about it. I know it might be embarrassing to talk to them about it, but they can really help. You most likely won't need the help of your congregation elders, but you know they're there if you need them. Keep praying as well. ^_^
At the next meeting, ask for some magazines that talk about the subject. Use your Bible when you read them too. I know the information will reassure(?) you. No worries Mid. *hugs*
Do you suffer from anxiety? Because another reason for this is a mild anxiety attack. It can happen at any time when you think about something that worries you; but it can happen when you are semi-conscious and your mind has subconsciously began to think of something that worries you. This can often make you feel constricted and make you have difficulty breathing.
I discussed this with my scientist friends and we decided this was most likely to be the case if it wasn't a spirit

As far as I know of I don't have anxiety but I suffered from epiliptic seizures up until like eight years ago.
Hmmmm, yah I wouldn't want anyone to have to feel the panic and helplessness I did.

Maybe, I've just been raised in a house believing in spirits and such. Though I'll try to keep an open mind for explianations.
