but kids already have brain damage! they take your drink and you say "didn't i just tell you not to do that?" and they say "uh huh!" and you say "well why did you do it?" and they say "i don't know!" then you put the drink down and they pick it up again and you say "weren't you just listening to what i said? didn't i just tell you not to do that?" and they say "uh huh!" and you say "well why did you do it?" and they say "i don't know!" that's brain damage!
If they can spell well enough, that's somewhat fine.
Grammar is a bit more complicated, but if they have the basic idea, I can deal with it. Text speak, however (U, 2, G2G) is where I tend to get annoyed a little.
Isn't that the truth? I also can't stand when people don't punctuate properly, or even at all. Or capitalize when necessary. Or confuse words like "Were", "Where", and "We're". It's not hard.
