I kept rewatching this scene for reference when I was making this. It damaged my feels for a while.

Ooooh that had to be tough. I was almost yelling "It's for your own good!!!" at Vanellope the whole time. My mom was around and I didn't wanna freak her out though....

I like how after Vanellope utters the worst (best) line in the movie ("You really are a bad guy"), there's this heavy sound effect like thunder or something dropping. It emphasizes the weight and the impact of her words... Yeah, I kind of notice stuff like this. :P

I hated that conflicting feeling where it was like "NOOO DUN DO IT RALPH!" and "VANELLOPE PLZ LISTEN CHU COULD DIIIIIE!"
I think that's what made it heart-wrenching.

Oh, I know! It put both of them in pain and to see the two characters you've gradually built up feelings for being simultaneously hurt is awful.

Haha, my heart sunk so low at that moment. In my head I was patting Ralph on the back saying "She doesn't mean it Ralph, she just doesn't know." Gosh this movie had so many feels!

I don't think she even put up much of a fight when you-know-who came along to lock her up, because of how heartbroken she was...

I know right? I couldn't even be mad at her for it. Everything she did made too much sense.

Fifteen years without a friend, being treated like dirt, then finally discovering a friend/big brother who wants to help you make your dream come true--then it turns out that he's (supposedly) a traitor who won't hesitate to smash your dreams to bits so he can go home with a medal.

Grrr, right in the feels. This is probably the first movie since How to Train Your Dragon that gave me the tinglies throughout the whole thing.

Ugh, yeees... I wish this movie had more love. But hey, it is what it is, as Ralph would say.

I did feel it was rather sad for a "kid's" movie. Still amazing all in all.

People actually hate her!? She's a dreamer that literally built a kart with her little hands just to race. She kept strong for fifteen painful years and STILL forgave all those who opressed her and denied her existence. Despite all that she went through she still manages to smile and keep optimistic. She is the one character that actually inspired me.

I think most Disney movies are like that, actually. There's usually some part in each movie that makes me cry. Maybe even multiple parts. But WIR made me cry three times in its course, and I hadn't even known anything about the movie before I watched it. Unlike now, when I'm such a Disney freak that I knew about Frozen and looked forward to it like a year in advance... :P

But yeah. It was Wreck-It Ralph that began my love for Disney.

Honestly at first I didn't really like Vanellope, but after really getting to know her, I understand a whole lot better why you like her so much. She's such an awesome imspiration!

If there's one thing I need movie people NOT to do, it's overpromote the cutesy comic relief character before the movie's release. In the trailers, all they showed was Vanellope's snarky, bratty side with all the duty jokes and it was really rather grating.

I liked when, the first time I watched it, Vanellope said "Well now it's M-Y-M-MY-M-YY-MY ticket!" and glitched when she took the medal. I was like "WHOAWHOAWHOAWAAAAAT!?"
I had no idea she was a glitch until Taffyta mentioned it after she uncovered Vanellope's car.

Oh, yeah, totally. I wish there was some way for me to watch it for the first time again. XD

Maybe this sounds slow, but I never actually realized anything weird about Vanellope being on the side of the game cabinet until Ralph confronted Sour Bill about it. :P

I actually only knew that Ralph didn't wanna be the bad guy, and he left his game, and he shook hands with a little girl, and there was some creepy clown-like dude [King Candy].
Huh... is it just me, or does that cake-smashing scene at the beginning remind anyone of the Ester episode of VeggieTales?

The trailers honestly made me not wanna watch the movie. Glad Kiraichu told me to watch it though. Definitely had no idea what sort of character she was until Taffyta mentioned it. A real surprise

All I knew was that it was a Disney movie about video games and it had Eggman and Bowser in it. I honestly wouldn't have seen it if my dad hadn't decided to take me. See, I was going through this weird thing where I was mad at Disney because I thought they were going to buy Hasbro and I was a huge MLP person back then...

Huh, oh yeah. Never thought of Esther. It's different though--the only similarity is a cake being smashed.

The trailers were lackluster. It didn't capture the awesome of the movie. I like that she became president. Leaves so much flr a sequel than becoming a typical princess. :p

Sorry, just the cake-smashing was what I meant. It's kinda funny how different the scenes are, like you said, yet it ends in cake on everyone, one caused by hamhands, the other by a piano.

The Nostalgia Critic made a complaint against princesses and mentioned how Vanellope became princess in stereotypical fashion, and I wanted so badly to be like "YES BUT SHE CHANGED IT TO PRESIDENT OF HER OWN WILL"

A lost temper vs. an attempt of mur.der on the king via death by piano. :P I was too busy thinking about that aspect of it.

My friend is insistent on her beliefs that WIR shouldn't get a sequel, because she thinks they'll ruin it. While there may be some possibility to that statement, not EVERY sequel is bad. Some might even be better than the original film. *loudly points to Toy Story 3* GOOD SEQUELS ARE A THING.

But...it probably won't happen. At least not soon. They'd probably make Frozen a sequel first, seeing as Frozen's where the money's at right now. But some time ago, Kiraichu and I were discussing WIR sequel ideas...

Oh. Those were awesome ideas. We still got a lot. The video game world is massive. For them not to make a sequel would be tragic. Besides. I kinda want a Vanellope a GOOD video game like where she discovers what else she can do with her glitching. If she gets popular enough maybe she will. One can dream. :p

Well, first we were talking about what would happen if Litwak's arcade shut down. You don't see many arcades around anymore. And if the cabinets were all being sold off to collectors, so they had an obligation to stay in their games.

Then, we talked about if there was this bad glitch but Vanellope was convinced he was just misunderstood and stuck up for him, thus turning people against her...

The WIR movie video game was...bad. The only perk it had were the two cutscenes and whatever dialogue it had.

OMG THAT GAME.
I never made it past the first levels in any of the stages. If I did, I gave up anyway.

I aspire to be a game designer to try making video games based on movies actually good. We also discussed that maybe they can travel via the internet through a charging cable of a 3ds or something while it's plugged in. Oh the feels it will bring to Ralph if the arcade closes and he can't see his favorite president anymore.

Well, there was a plot twist and I was told about the plot twist so I knew about the plot twist so I wasn't surprised by the plot twist and when the plot twist happened the rest of the theater was like *GASP* and I just seethed in my seat because I had been told the plot twist and was expecting the plot twist so for me the plot twist wasn't even a plot twist. The end.
