-I will arrange Ceremonies and such in the description. Please try to be there.
-Try being as active as you can. There WILL be activity checks (not often, though).
-Be kind to everyone in this Clan. We're all here to have fun and be apart of this Clan as friends. So no fighting out of character (try not to fight too much in character, either. xD ).
-Also. If a mating pair wants kits, they MUST approach Rainstar (me) first. We need to make sure the Clan can support them properly as well as mentor them when the time comes.

Shinestorm awoke slightly dazed. She looked around the den, it took her many moments to realize where she was at. RainClan. She'd been wanting to join this Clan for a long time and she was delighted Rainstar accepted her request last evening.

Of course! I was really hoping you didnt mind. I knew I could trust you, so Woodpaw is yours. Unless you'd like Pearpaw. I have the feeling that me and you are going to be on the most. I can give Woodpaw to someone else.
Also. I gotta leave for school in an hour or so.]]

Rainstar awoke to the smell of light mist and different, new cats. The new RainClan. She sighed happily and padded out of the den silently.

Pearpaw rolled over in her sleep. She was having dreams about chasing mice through the fog.

[I honestly don't mind who Shinestorm's apprentice is.]

Shinestorm finally mustered up enough strength to lazily stumble out of the den. The cold air easily awoke her, she was glad she had thicker fur.

Then I'll make it Pearpaw! Just cause. xD]]

Rainstar saw Shinestorm and smile. She padded over with a bounce in her step, mist clinging to her fur. "Good morning, Shinestorm." She greeted, trying to seem calm and professional, but she was actually very excited.

[I can totally see why you'd change it. It would be a little strange to RP for the mentor and apprentice!]

"Good morning Rainstar!" Shinestorm replied, bowing slightly. "It sure is chilly this morning!" Shinestorm said as she shivered.

"How was your first night? Were the beds comfortable? Is the den big enough?" She asked a bit rushed.

"I slept wonderfully! I already feel at home!" Shunestorm smiled warmly. She could tell her new leader was a bit flustered.

"Oh, thats great. I'm so glad. I was so worried everything wouldn't be perfect for everyone..." She smiled in relief. Everything was going well so far, even though the day had just begun.

Pearpaw awoke groggily. She smelled the mist and peered outside of the den. The grey dullness of the sky and the cold chill in the air made her want to sleep in.

"You shouldn't stress!" Shinestorm exclaimed. "I think I'm going to go do some hunting. Is Pearpaw around?" Shinestorm looks around for her young apprentice. This would be her first time training any cat, which made her very nervous.

"She should be in the den..." Rainstar looked thoughful, sniffing the air. Through the mingled scents of other cats and the mist, she found the apprentice's, who stepped out of the den and stretched right on time. "Ah, there she is. Have fun!" Rainstar giggled. She padded over to a puddle of rainwater and lapped some up.

Shinestorm laughed along before padding to her apprentice. "Hello Pearpaw. I hope you got plenty of rest, your training starts today." Shinestorm had no idea if she was fit to train a RainClan apprentice, but Rainstar seemed to trust her.

"Ah! Okay!" Pearpaw smiled, standing up tall. "Where do we start? I already know most of the basics." She said, small tail flicking back and forth.

"Um... Lets head to the Crossrocks! I think today I'll see where your skills are at." She decided and started to pad towards the Crossrocks. She knew if they crossed over there they'll surely find prey.

Acidstream's ill-green eyes flickered open as sunlight began to dapple the camp--including the interior of the nursery. Her young kits-Poisonkit, Clearkit, and Markedkit-layed curled up at her soft belly fur. She didn't bother stirring to retrieve her own fresh-ki.ll. The customs of the Clans generally required apprentices taking food to the queens.

/H..uh...?/ Amberlight thought, waking in the, still unfamiliar, warrior den. Blinking away sleep, she stepped out of the den, careful not to step on or hit any other cats. Fishpaw was already awake. He stretched in the clearing, before walking into the nursery to check on Acidstream and the kits. "Hello," he mewed. "Do you need anything? Or is everything fine?"

Anyone still here?]]

Oh, and Green, you can RP. But one of your kits has to be a male. Its a part of the rules. But they can be apprentices whenever you want.]]

darktail awoke slowly looking around the den,slowly got up and walked out of the den and stood for a moment before going some wear in the camp and sitting down.
woodpaw sleeping soundly in the den dre aming things and rolling around every so offen.

Silverlily blinked open her drowsy eyes and peered around the den. She slowly climbed out of her mossy nest and staggered over to the entrence to stretch in the sun.

Ryekit woke to the chilly morning air. he got up out of his nest and streched before padding over to Acidstream.
"morning Acidstream," he mewed quietly so he wouldn't wake her kits. "would you like me to go get you some freshki.ll?"

Ryekit waited a moment but didn't hear her reply. he decided to go and get her some freshk.ill anyways. outside he saw several other cats already up and moving. he headed over to the freshk.ill pile.

Ryekit glaced over and saw Streamsong looking at him. he decided to go say hello.
"hi!" he mewed as he ran over.

[Since I had to change my cat, can I change him completly? I'd like to use Stonekit, in the description of my (Bad) ref.]

Dewkit was already awake, watching the sun rise over the treetops, shining it's golden rays over the waking Clan. She loved to watch the sky, and was often up before anyone, but no one ever knew it. Soon she would creep back into the nursery, hopefully unnoticed. She had stayed out later than usual. She wondered if the queens, with the unhappy kits last night, would be wiped out and still sleeping soundly, as she had left them.

Ryekit skidded to a halt, accidentally splattering mud on the older cat's front legs.
"Sorry!" he squeaked. "i didn't mean to get you all muddy!"
(sorry about it being so short. i'm not the best when it comes to rps)

The quiet young cat lookes back down at earth. She is suprised that so many cats are awake! She rushes to the nursery entrance, and peeks inside. She quickly retracts her head. *Yep,* She thought, *She's awake. I better just head to the fresh-k;ll pile..*

"do you need help cleaning it off?" Ryekit asked, relieved Streamsong wasn't mad at him.

Dewkit pads in the direction of the pile, then stops, seeing the other kit already there. She knows that she is odd in the eyes if the other kits, which is the reason she was always taunted. *Well, someday I'll show them, when they have to come to ME to be healed!* Then her ears droop, remembering that an apprentice already took the Medicine Cat place.

"oh, ok," Ryekit said a little dissapointed he couldn't help. he then noticed streamsong was looking at something. he was curious so he turned to see what streamsong was looking at.

The kit notices the cat she didn't want to be seen by staring straight at her. She looks around, and then heads to the dirt-place to escape their stares.

She looks back whe she hears the older cat's voice, but hurries on, acting as if she really has to go and can't talk. [I gtg in real life too. Be back later though! Bye.]

Ryekit watched the other kit coming over and perked up a bit. /maybe she might wanna play!/ he thought but his ears drooped as he watched the other kit walk off somewhere else.
"did i do something? i think i might have done something wrong. should i go ask her whats wrong?" he asked streamsong.

(sorry, that was really late)

"Should i leave her alone then? i wanna be friends with her, but if she doesn't like me now..." he watched her for a second. "maybe we can become friends later?"

"calmly..." he thought for a moment "i can be calm!" He said bouncing up and down, then relized that he wasn't really proving it. "oops," he mewed in embarassment, and stopped jumping.

Ryekit jumped once in excitement. "i'll practice and i'll be really good friends with her one day! you'll see!" he turned and looked at her one more time
"she looks like she could use a friend."

Dewpaw waits in the dirtplace, watching the two cats talking by the pile. *Hmm, he didn't seem to dislike me. Yet..* She thinks.

I dont see anything about Stonekit in any description. Did you mean to replace Dapplekit? I think we have WAY too many kits, so if we coukd just have Dewkit, that would be great. Maybe later on in the RP you can make another character. If you want two characters that badly, we DO need another male warrior.

Kole:
I was wondering, when Ryekit becomes an apprentice (soon, hopefully), Streamsong could apprentice him? I can move Woodpaw with no problems.

Dawg:
When will Ryekit be ready to become an apprentice? Because, like I said, if its okay with you, too, I think Streamsong would be a great mentor.]]

Rainstar sat just outside of her den, observing the camp. Pearpaw sat next to her, grooming. The two made small talk about how the Clan was progressing.

[That sounds fine. And Dewkit is only a week or so from being 6 moons old. I'll make the ref for my male warrior tomarrow.]

Fishpaw nodded. "Of course. I'll make sure I get you something good!" he meowed, leaving the nursery and grabbing a succulent looking shrew from the bottom of the pile. He brought it to Acidstream. "I apologize if you dont like shrew..."

Yes, Tiny. We have shrews, voles, lots of mice and rabbits, fish of all kinds in the river near Crossrocks and in the ocean, squirrels, chickadees, sparrows, crows, ravens, the occassional hawk and other small songbirds(though birds are hard to catch and are almost always in trees). We only have foxes and the dog on the farm to worry about.]]

Also. Thunderfear was added to the RP! He'll be RPed by myself.]]

Thunderfear stepped out of the warriors den after taking a small nap. He took a glance at the fresh-k.ill pile and realized that it was getting smaller. With a long stretch, he padded out of camp after sending his sister and Pearpaw a small smile.

Dewpaw walked quietly out of the dirtplace when no one was looking, and looked around, wondering what to do. Most of the other kits left her alone.

(i'd be pefectly fine with Streamsong being Ryekit's mentor, as long as Kole is okay with it! and i think when Ryekit becomes an apprentice should be at the same time or a little after Dewkit if that's okay, so whenever you guys want it to be would be great! well, as long as it's before or after sunday afternoin 'cause i won't be on five till -at most- seven fifty-five because i have to watch the twins, but any other time is great!:D )

Soon, I hope. To save time, I would like both ceremonies to be together.]]

Ryekit saw the other kit step out of the dirtplace and was tempted to run over but stopped himself. instead he decided to just smile and wave his tail in greeting, wondering if she'd come over.

Pearpaw saw Dewkit walking through camp. "Should she be in the nursery, Rainstar?" She asked the Leader. Rainstar's eyes followed the kit as well. "She's almost an apprentice. My mother let me and Thunderfear wander when we were her age, I believe. I suppose its fine."

(ok so both Dewkit and Ryekit together! i'm sure saterday would work, im not doing anything at all. if your both ok with it then.)

We'll see how things progress and who is active and who is not. I still have no idea in terms of a mentor for Dewkit.]]

Amberlight layed down in the clearing. /Should I ask to be on a patrol...?/ she thought. She barely noticed her son, Fishpaw, padding over.

Fishpaw layed down next to Amberlight. "Still tired?" he mewled, whiskers twitching.

Thunderfear came back to camp with a vole and mouse in his jaws. He placed them in the pile and looked around. Now seemed like a nice time to patrol, when the sun was setting. He looked around. Should he ask anyone else to join him? He sat and licked a paw uncertainly.

[Oops! I wrote 'paw' instead if kit! And anytime is fine for me.] Dewkit saw the other kit waving his tail. *He's really noticing me? Why? No kit has ever done that. He must not have seen me up close.* She stopped, not knowing what to do.

Amberlight got up and looked around the camp.

Fishpaw left his mother and into the medicine cat den. /Where is Silverlily?/ he thought.

Pearpaw observed the kits with interest, resting her head on her paws beside her Leader, who sat and looked over camp. She was tempted to go for a walk as she commonly did back when she was a warrior, but knew she should stay in camp at least until a deputy was found.

Thunderfear saw Amberlight and stopped. He /should/ have gone to ask her about a patrol, but instead, he stood up and averted his gaze. He hated company nowadays. He was going alone.

Ryekit saw the other kit stop and look really nevious but she didn't run away this time so he took this as a good sign. he walked a little closer and mewed "hi! my names Ryekit! would you like to play?"

Amberlight sighed. /Why must I be so bored...? Thats it... I'm going to go fish./ She walked over to Rainstar and sat down. "May I go out and hunt?" she asked.

Fishpaw looked for Silverlily. "She must be out looking for herbs...?" He thought, walking back to camp. He saw Pearpaw and padded over to her. "Ah, hi!" he mewed, and sat down.

Rainstar smiled politely. "Of course! You dont have to ask." She looked to see her brother leaving camp. "Thunderfear is either hunting or going on patrol as well... He's a bit rough around the edges, but he's great once he opens up to you. Why dont you go with him?" She suggested kindly. She hated how lonely her brother seemed and how he never tried to make friends. So now she was forcing friends onto him.

Pearpaw looked up and Fishpaw and smiled. "Hello. I'm Pearpaw. You're the Silverlily's Apprentice, right?" She said, her half tail flicking in greeting.

"Alright. Thank-you!" She smiled and left the camp. /Maybe I'll go to the Bonfire beach./ She thought, her paw already leading her in that direction.

"Yep! Nice to meet you, Pearpaw." he smiled.

(eating dinner right now... XD)

(Oops forgot to have him say his name... "Yep. I'm Fishpaw! Nice to meet you Pearpaw." is what I meant to put... XD)

Thunderfear grumbled and leaped over the Crossrocks with ease, his large body tossing itself from rock to rock with tremendous power.

Pearpaw beamed. "So, are you enjoying RainClan so far?" She asked with a wide grin.

Amberlight heard mumbling and turned to see Thunderfear at the crossrocks. She decided she would go see him instead of going to the beach.

Fishpaw nodded. "Its really nice here!" he mewed.

Thunderfear landed on the other side, then grumbled more. He got some water on his pelt and his paws were wet. He shook and fluffed himself up, wiping his paws on the grass.

"Thats good! I'm glan youre enjoying yourself." Pearpaw got up and stretched briefly. "Hungry?" She asked the other apprentice.

Amberlight leaped across the stones after him. She let out a yowl of surprise as she slipped and nearly fell into the river. /Oops.../ she thought. He'd know she was here now. "...Hi... Your Rainstar's brother, right?"

Fishpaw got up too. "Yeah, kinda." he purred happily.

Thunderfear turned to meet Amberlight's gaze. "Yes. Why do you ask?" He asked, a hard, unwelcoming edge to his voice.

"Wanna grab some freshk.ill from the pile or do you wanna hunt?" Pearpaw flicked her tail, excited.

Dewkit just decides to nod at Ryekit, and then goes to the nursery to take a nap. She was up really late last night. She hoped Acidstream didn't notice her.

Amberlight looked away. /Hmm... Well I cant just tell him Rainstar told me to be friend with him.../ She stifled a sigh. "Well, you were going hunting Rainstar said, and so was I, um, I felt like we could hunt together?" she said. /At least Im lying to him./

"Heh, I don't know how to hunt, being a medicine cat's apprentice, so how about you show me?" he asked politely, smiling.

The cream queen smiled as the apprentice left her something to eat, then left. She ate slowly. Nothing good ever came from devouring your food like a fox. At this point her kits were beginning to stir. The green eyes of Poisonkit's opened first, then Clearkit's, and finally Markedkit's. They were all still limp with sleep, though. /I'll take them out in a bit,/ Acidstream thought to herself.

"I'm perfectly fine on my own, thank you." The large tom said, trying to at least be polite.

Pearpaw smiled. "Of course! Hunting is what I'm best at!" She perked up, very excited now.

As the kit passed Rainpaw, she gave him a glare. Then she hurried into her den. Inside she nodded to Acidstream, and curled up to sleep.

Gah, I wanna go draw, but I dont wanna leave the RP... .n. ]]

[I mean Fishpaw. Sorry. Btw, they do have little ceasars here. And I got to go. We're eating at Chick-fil-A! Bye.]

"Oh, okay." She nodded and turned to go back to the Bonfire beach.

Thunderfear sighed in refief when she was gone. He hated interactions with others. He went around the boarders and marked them accordingly, but didnt cross the Thunderpath to the Moonpuddle.

[Oh! And I won't be back until tomarrow. Sorry.. -Gone for real-]

Pearpaw darted after him for the camp entrance, laughing playfully.

Ryekit watched Dewkit leave then waited a bit, rather dissapointed. he shrugged and thought to himself /oh well, there's always next time./ he started walking towards the nersery but then realized Dewkit had gone that way. /she probably wants some space i was probably rushing it a bit/ he walked back to the freshk.ill pile and chose a small mouse leaving the bigger stuff for the older cats, he wasn't that hungry at the moment.

Amberlight sat down at the beach and began fishing almost immediately.

Fishpaw tried to run fast, but he lagged behind not long after.

It wasn't long before her kits were stirring, so Acidstream decided to herd her trio outside the den. Stumbling on short legs, the kits quickly tumbled out of the den and squealed with joy. Clearkit and Markedkit promptly began play-fighting, while Poisonkit tip-toed over to a clear puddle, lightly dipping her tiny paw in. She hopped back, startled. The water was cold!

Ryekit finished his mouse and looked around camp.
/i should probably get to know everyone sence we're all living together now./ he thought getting up. he noticed a cat walking over to the freshk.ill pile with a fish in her jaws and ran over.
"hello there! i'm Ryekit. what's your name?" then he relized she might have a hard time replying. "oh sorry! it might be hard to talk with a fish in your mouth."

(i don't know. she might be to busy to come on today.)

[ XD Now introducing: Stonetail! ] Stonetail, a large, fluffy gray tom, turned over in his nest.

"that's a lot of fish you caught!" Ryekit commented, looking at the older she-cat's catch. "do you want help carrying them? i could carry one for you!"

The sleeping tom's ear twitched at the sound of Ryekit's voice. He slowly came awake, but stayed still, thinking of his loved one, now lost to him.

Ryekit thought he heard a sound comming from the warrior's den.
/that's odd. i thought all the warrior's were out./
he looked back at the she-cat.
"i'm gonna go check something quick." he told her before heading over to the entrance of the warrior's den. looking inside he saw a grey tom waking up.
"hello there, sorry if i woke you."

Stonetail looks up. "Oh, it's ok. I probably needed to wake up anyways. Has the sun risen yet?" The sleepy tom blinks, still not fully awake.

Ryekit looked up.
"yep, and i think it's a little past sunhigh," he tilted his head. "not quite sure though, several clouds are covering it."

Stonetail gets up hastily. "Then I've been sleeping all morning! I hope I wasn't sceduled for patrol."

"'I don't think so, they would have gotten you up, i'm pretty sure." Ryekit watched the tom get up.
"do you want me to get you something from the freshk.ill pile? i haven't done much the whole day."

Sorry I wasnt on today, I had to run errands (including buying a new microwave) and sew a plush. But hopefully I'm on now.

Tiny:
I was going to ask if you would like either Dewkit or Ryekit. Whoever you dont pick will be mentored by another. Maybe Thunderfear? I think it would be good for him to have an apprentice, but of course, if anyone else wants an apprentice instead, they can have one.]]

I also chose a time for the Apprentice Ceremony. Is Tuesday okay for everyone? At 7pm ET (Eastern Time)? If it isnt, then I can change it. Its most important if Buddy and Green can make it.]]

[Stonetail would be a good mentor, too, if you need one. Tuesday is fine, I just need to find out wgat time that is in my region.] Stonetail nods. "Thank you." He shakes out his thick fur and pads out if the den.

Shinestorm flicked her tail up and down as she padded towards a puddle for a drink. She could finally do some training.

Pearpaw bounced over to Shinestorm. "Im ready for training!" She meows excitedly.

Shinestorm smiled and laughed at her apprentice's excitement. "Alright then! Lets go test your skills!" Shinestorm moewed.

Pearpaw smiled. "Where do we go? Crossrocks?"

"That's the plan!" Shinestorm said and nodded. She started padding towards the camp entrance "C'mon!" She cheered.

"Okay!" She padded after her mentor.

After he had eaten, Stonetail looked around, wondering what to do. He was new at all this Clan stuff.

Rainstar saw Stonetail and smiled, approaching. "Hello, Stonetail," she meowed calmly, tail flicking from side to side.

Shinestorm grinned as she jogged through the trees with Pearpaw. The soon came to a stop at the river, Shinestorm gulped. She had only crossed rivers a few times in her life; she wasn't exactly a pro and she hated getting her fur wet. "Uh... You go first?" She asked her apprentice.

"Hello." He says. He bows to Rainstar, not sure what else to do. [XD]

"Sure! I've crossed here tons of times! You just have to be careful cause its raining and the rocks are slippery..." She huffed, jumping to the first rock.

The shecat was a little nervous. "Um... So, how do you like the Clan?" She asked, trying to see if she could start a conversation.

Dewkit sits on a tall rock, getting soaked as she stared at the clouds. [Working on her ref, too..]

"Oh ok." Shinestorm nodded as she listened. She watched her small apprentice's paws leap across the rocks intently. Then it was her turn. She made the first leap, then the second, and before she knew it she was across.

"Oh, it's great. I dudn't think it would rain so much though, even if it's named RainClan." The tom says.

Pearpaw smirked. "See? It wasnt that bad! We're alive!" She laughed. The rain put her in a good mood.

"Yeah... Its rare we see sun." Rainstar laughed.

"Oh.." His ears drooped, dripping with rain. He began to get a faraway look. "She always loved the rain...." The tom sighs,

Shinestorm gave a little laugh. "It wasn't bad at all. Now lets get to that training." Shinestorm padded out into a nice grassy opening. "Show me some moves." Shinestorm gave a challenging grin and bent into a fighting position.

Rainstar gave a questioning look."Who loved the rain..?" She asked, sitting and curling her tail around her paws neatly.

Pearpaw charged, unsheathing claws and aiming a swipe at her mentor's face.

Shinestorm hissed as claws collided with her face. She smiled at Pearpaw's skills. Shinestorm turned back to her apprentice, unseathing her own claws. "Lets see how fast those reflexes are." She meowed before swiping towards Pearpaw.

The gentle tom blinked. "Oh.... It was my..." He closes his eyes remembering. "My mate." Stonetail bows his head, water dripping off his nose.

The quick apprentice crouched, than leapt up and over her mentor's swipe just as her old mentor taught her. She tried to land on Shinestorms back, but tumbled and fell on her side, rolling back to her paws in a battle stance.

Rainstar gasped a little. "Oh my... I'm really sorry to hear that..." Rainstar raised a paw, but hesitated.

Shinestorm sped towards Pearpaw and turn sharply. She kicked her back leg up in the air, aiming for the stomach.

Yes, thats true. Claws sheathed, I forgot. Guess Pearpaw just got a little out of hand. xD ]]

"Thanks..." He looked up at Rainstar.

Pearpaw felt the shecat's back leg hit her in the side of the stomach, but she rolled back and pounced, jaw open, aiming for her shoulder.

[I got Dewkit open too.]

The leader lowered her paw. "If it helps, I know how you feel, except with my family instead of a mate..."

Shinestorm winced as a mouth grasped her shoulder. She shook off her apprentice, panting as she did. "That's good for now. We should do some hunting." She said in deep breaths.

"Oh, I'm sorry.." He looks away.

Pearpaw nodded, standing tall, trying to hide her panting. "Yeah, thats a good idea." Her stomach was probably going to bruise, but she wasnt as rough as her old mentor...

Rainstar smiled at him. "No, its okay. Everythings fine now. That was moons ago. I realized that I have to move on..." She looked unsure for a moment, but then found her confidence.

"Sorry about your stomach..." Shinestorm frowned. "I tend to be a bit competative. Its just one of my many flaws." She smiled again and sniffed the air for prey.

"Yeah. Um, should I be on any patrols?" He says

"No, I understand. I unsheathed my claws and I didnt mean to... Its just the way my old mentor would teach me..." Pearpaw copied her mentor.

"Thunderfear marked the boarders for today, so only if you like. It isnt needed..." Rainstar looked away, feeling a little embarrassed.

Thunderfear saw Shadedstep and grabbed a mouse from the fresh-k.ill pile and brought it to her. "There arent any apprentices around, so... Here." He looked embarrassed as he dropped the mouse.

Dewkit looks down, noticing the Elder waking up in the den next to her.

Ryekit padded around the clearing looking for somthing to do. the rain didn't bother him much, not until he slipped and got covered in cold, sticky mud.
he tried to get remove it but that only caused it to clot and matten up his fur.
/well, mud isn't the worst thing in the world to get covered in./ he thought to himself. he stood back up and tried to avoid slipping again.

"Ok." He looks at Rainstar. "Sorry, I'm a bit of a downer, aren't I? You know, I think I will go hunting.. You probably are very busy. I'm sorry..." Stonetail stands up, shaking his fur and spraying water droplets everywhere.

Dewkit nods, silent.

/i wonder how far i could slide.../ Ryekit thought. he made sure no cat would be in the way so he wouldn't hurt anyone and took off running.

"Hey, I'm not busy at all... I've been looking for an excuse to leave camp forever... You wouldnt mind if I tagged along, would you..?" The leader stood and looked at the tom.

Thunderfear nodded at the strange elder. "Um, yes, I'm quite alright, thank you..." He sat, deciding that he shoukd probably keep the elder company, since she was the only one.

Wait. Kole, who are you RPing with? xD ]]

Ryekit flew across the clearing, covering a good several foxlenghts before stopping. he let out a small yowl of triumph. he closed him jaws quickly, rather embarassed.
/hope no one heard that./ he thought looking around.

"Oh, sure! I probably need a guide anyway, I haven't seen the whole territory yet."

he spotted Streamsong a little ways away. he ran over to the one tom he was rather farmiliar with.
"hey Streamsong! did you see me slide?"
it was hard to run covered in mud.

Dewkit looked up at the sound if Ryekit. *What is he doing?* She thought.

"I guess we both have our flaws!" Shinestorm nodded and laughed. "C'mon now, I smell a mouse!" She said before jumping up and jogging towards the scent.

Rainstar smiled. "Of course! Follow me." She padded calmly out of camp, excited to be leaving for the first time in a while.

Thats okay. I may be a bit poofy, too.]]

Pearpaw followed quickly, eager to demonstrate her skills.

Ryekit slipped and fell with a muffled sqeak when he reached Stream. he scrambled about in the mud trying to regain his footing.

Stonetail trots after her, his mind wandering far and near.

Dewkit thinks, *That looks fun! Hmm, would he let me join him? ...*

Shinestorm continued to jog in silence; she never liked the silence, it was awkward to her. Luckily, she spotted a mouse in the distance. "Alright, you got this one." She instructed in a low voice. "Remember, light paws. Those things can hear almost everything."

"Y-yeah, even in the forest around camp, which is rare..." Thubderfear said calmly.

Rainstar waited for him so she could start a conversation. "So... Were you in any Clans before RainClan..?" She asked him, headed for Crossrocks.

Pearpaw nodded. "Light paws. Got it." She crouched, all her weight on her haunches. She was slow for fear of losing her ballance, but efficient in being quiet.

"No, but I have been around a few warriors before." He says as he walks.

"Huh. Yeah, youre absolutely right. She's been very on-edge lately... She hasnt been doing a bad job, either. I'll definately tell her." Thunder gave a small smile to the elder to be polite.

"yep! i'm fine!" he said regaining his footing. "watch this!" he took off running and slid across the clearing, not as far as last time.

She watched her apprentice slowly crawl to the prey. She could see she was a bit wobbly, a little practice can help that. She glanced at the mouse, it's ears were up, listening, one wrong move and that prey could be gone.

Dewkit walks over, near Ryekit but still hanging back.

Say... We have everyone we need here for the Ceremony except for Tinyrain... Would it be bad to have it now?]]

Rainstar nodded. "I see. I dont mean to ask a lot of questions, I'm just curious as to where everyone comes from."

[I am ready, but if you want to wait then that is fine.]

on his way back he slipped and ran into Dewkit. standing up he mewed quickly, "oh i'm so sorry! i didn't mean to run into you! are you okay?" he asked helping the other kit to her paws.

[Nah Lex, I think we can do it now]

Claws unsheathed, Pearpaw leapt and, though she was far from the prey, still managed to smack it down with a paw, disabling it. The rest of her body caught up and she k.illed it in her jaws. Standing up, she turned back to Shine. "Got it!" She was a little embarrassed by her imparred hunting style, but it got the job done.

Shinestorm laughed and padded over to Pear. "Wonderful! The critter didn't even suspect a thing! Now lets head to camp, we can hunt the way back." She meowed.

Alright. Then everyone just pretend that the ceremony was planned and head back to camp. Sorry for being disorganized. If someone wants to RP Amberlight, I dont think Tiny would mind. Kole, Streamsong will be mentoring Ryekit. Is that okay?]]

Dewkit blinked, and nodded. Mud was splashed all over her pale gray fur. [Is it ok to make Dewkit mute?]

Pearpaw purred at her mentor's praise. "Okay!" She smiled through the freshk.ill in her mouth.

Green:
Sure! I dont mind.]]

"Oh there's a ceremony tonight, right? We should hurry back then!" Shine smiled, she loved ceremonies. She remembered her own apprenticing and warrior ceremonies.

[Ok, sorry I didn't put it in the original ref. But I think I can finish the new one by tomarrow.]

Stonetail looks up at the sinking sun. "I heard the apprentice ceremony is tonight?"

"do you need help cleaning the mud off?" Ryekit asked the other kit, concerned. "this mud can be a real pain sometimes."

"Oh yeah! Ryekit and Dewkit are becoming Apprentices! Thats exciting!" Pearpaw meowed, following her mentor.

Dewkit shakes her head, and motions to wash in a large puddle nearby.

"I bet you remember your ceremony like it was yesterday! Mine was quite some time ago!" Shine chuckled. She saw the river come into view, they were about halfway to camp.

"Believe it or not, mine was quite a few moons ago, too..." Pear laughed, trying not to drop the mouse.

"okay," he nodded and followed her over to the puddle, walking a tail-length away and trying to get the mud out of his fur best he could.

"Ha, of course!" Shine laughed. They stopped at the river but this time Shinestorm bravely jumped across each rock, careful not to slip.

The mud washes out of the she-cat's fur quite easily. She sees that Ryekit is having some trouble, tentitively walks over, and starts to lick his fur.

"thanks," Ryekit said when Dewkit came and helped clean the mud out of his fur. he smiled.
"guess i went a little to crazy with the mud slidding huh?"

Pearpaw followed just as bravely as her mentor, holding on to the mouse tightly in her jaws.

Shine picked up her speed once her and Pear were safely across the river. Shinestorm ran through the chilly, misty air. She loved to run, speed was always her best skill.Soon they came to camp.

Sorry for the poof. But whats the idea, Koleh?]]

Pearpaw entered camp and placed the mouse on the pile. Rainstar entered right behind her and nudged her, smiling. The mentor smiled back. The leader had become some sort of guardian over Pearpaw since both of their families died. She was like a mother or older sister. The apprentice looked up to her dearly.

(is the deputy going to be anounced as well? or will it just be the Ryekit and Dewkit becoming apprentices?)

The deputy will be announced once someone fits the criteria. As of now, I dont think anyone has actually finished mentoring an apprentice except for Rainstar. But Pearpaw is finishing up training soon, so Shinestorm could be the deputy...]]

Shinestorm noticed Pearpaw and Rainstar's glances, Shine knew the two had been through a lot together. She smiled. Shine padded to a puddle for a drink after a long training session.

The quiet kit smiled and nodded.

Sure! Can Rainstar be extremely oblivious? xD
Streamsong sobbed. "One day, senpai will notice me!"]]

[That be AWESOME Lex, I'm sure Shinestorm would love being deputy! :3]

[Deputies do not have to complete the training of an apprentice. 'Member Fireheart?]

Rainstar kept walking until she reached her den. Instead of slipping in through the vines, she leapt up and onto the top. From the Highrock, she called in a very royal and professional sounding voice "All cats of RainClan present, please gather at the Highrock! We will be heading to Bonfire Beach shortly!" She looked nervous and a bit out of place, but she was getting the hang of things.

Stonetail padded in behind his leader. He was interested in this whole ceremony business. What was it? He supposed he would just have to wait and see.

Kinda. But thats not the only place thats from. xD

Green:
I know, I know. But its in the Warrior Code. You know how many times everyone in the books has broken it?! Lots. And I'm only on Fire and Ice (second book, first arc, but I know everything else that happens, I was on the Warrior Cat forums. xD) and I can count tons of times.]]

Ryekit stepped out of the puddle and shook himself a bit. he turned and smiled at dewkit.
"thanks again. also i don't think i've gotten your name yet. it's dewkit right?"

Shinestorm nodded at Rainstar's announcment, she headed towards the beach. Her first ceremony in RainClan would surely be one she remembers.

Dewkit looked up, surprised. She wonders what they were going to announce. She sits, watching the cats head out to the beach.

Also, Shine is supposed to stay at the Highrock. Their leaving as a group. xD ]]

Ryekit sits next to Dewkit and watches the crowd of cats gathering.

Rainstar sat quietly, waiting for the cats to gather before her. She was impatient, she always has been, but decided to just wait it out.

Stonetail sits by Pearpaw and her mentor.

All:
Okay. So Ceremony. Ryekit and Dewkit, stand beside Rainstar in front of the fire, she chooses mentors and talks, giving apprentice names, then Streamsong touches noses with Ryekit, Amberlight (me at the moment) will touch noses and the crowd chants Ryekit and Dewkit's new names (Ryepaw and Dewpaw). Questons?]]

Rainstar cleared her throat. She tried her best to speak with no breaks or pauses. "T-tonight, we will be traveling for the first time as a group to Bonfire Beach. We will be having our first Ceremony there and I hope everything will go smoothly. We will honor Ryekit and Dewkit becoming apprentices and they each will be given their mentor and apprentice name. That is all. We may now commence traveling." She dipped her head, letting out a sigh of relief as she did, and leapt off the rock, leading the group out of camp and east to the beach.

The tom glanced over at Streamsong. *Hmm... This is a familiar scene.*

Dewkit looks at Ryekit with wide eyes.

Shinestorm smiled at the starry sky as everyone walked to the beach. She studied the many bodies around her.

Ryekit was bursting with excitement. he was becoming an apprentice! he got up an followed the group of cats, checking to see if Dewkit was ok.
"excited?" he asked her.

Pearpaw stayed close to Shinestorm, excited. Ceremonies were always a big event for her, even if she wasnt the one being called up.

Thunderfear flanked his sister as the deputy would have done. Deputy... He wondered when and who she would pick.

Dewkit nodded repeatedly, tail twitching fast.

I just thought of a warrior name for Dewkit/paw. Dewsong! Kinda random, I know.]]

"me too!" he said walking beside her. "i hope you get a really good mentor."

As Shinestorm walked side by side with Pearpaw somethung snapped in her head, Deputy. Who would be deputy? Was anyone qualified?

But I can think of tons more... Dewfeather, Dewwhisker, Dewdrop, Dewshine... But I liked Dewsong cause dew cant talk and neither can she. That sorta thing.]]

The little kit nodded again. She did a little hopskip. *Who would it be? Stonetail? No, he's to odd. Hmm. Thunderfear? Ambertail?*

As the group neared the beach, they came to the back of the rock pile just before the bonfire. Rainstar looked back at the crowd. 'Nobody should have any trouble...' She thought, bounding up the high mountain of rocks and pebbles.

[Sure, but that's a long way ahead.

Oh no!! I gtg! I need to have dinner.... Back in an hour?]

Shinestorm watched Rainstar climb some rocks. The ceremony was about to start, she was giddy with excitement.

I'll be Dewkit. We cant put this off much longer. I have to go to bed soon.]]

[Yeah, same with me. I'm so tired]

Ryekit sat and looked up at Rainstar, eager to find out who his mentor was going to be.

Rainstar bounded up and over the pile and climbed down the less steep side. She sat in front of the bonfire with Dewkit to her left. She waited for her clan to be seated.

Shinestar took a seat in the oddly warm sand, waiting for Rainstar to start.

Shinestar? Getting a little ahead, are we? xD ]]

[Oops, went into autopilot for a moment i guess]

(so was mine xD)

Rainstar cleared her throat to speak. "We are gathered here tonight to celebrate two kits, Ryekit and Dewkit, becoming ready for a mentor. For Dewkit, I have chosen Amberlight." The dark brown tabby steps forward and meets her new apprentices gaze. "From this moment on until she recieves her Warrior name, Dewkit will now be known as Dewpaw. I hope that Amberlight can pass down her strength and bravery to her new apprentice." Tne two touched noses and smiled. Before the croud could cheer, Rainstar went on. "Now, for Ryekit, I have chosen Streamsong." She looked to the tom expectantly, waiting for him to come up.

[I'll actually be back sooner.. 15 mins or less.]

Shinestorm smiled at the new apprentice and mentor, she turned to Stream and Rain.

Dewkit blinked at her new mentor, giddy with excitement.

I /just/ RPed Dewkit getting her mentor and name... Sorry Green...]]

Ryepaw padded over and touched noses with Streamsong.

Doing this Ceremony from memory, I hope I'm right. xD ]]

Rainstar looked at him trustingly, then to Ryekit. "From this moment on until he recieves his Warrior name, Ryekit will be know as Ryepaw. I hope that Streamsong will pass down his intelligence and loyalty to his new apprentice." She nods to them and bows her head to the crowd.

"Ryepaw! Dewpaw!" Shinestorm began cheer.

[o-o It's ok.. I knew. Oh! And I meant Dewpaw up there.]

"Also, unfortunately, a Deputy cannot be chosen tonight. Warrior Code says that a Deputy needs to have mentored at least one apprentice and the only one to do so is myself. But as soon as we find a suitable tom or shecat, we will meet here again." She smiled to her clan.

Stonetail takes up the Chant: "Dewpaw! Ryepaw! Dewpaw! Ryepaw!"

Ryepaw smiled at Streamsong and then looked at the crowd a little embarrased.

Dewpaw beams at her fellow apprentice, Ryepaw.

Shinestorm was a little frightened about the information of her Clan being without a deputy. But she remembered Rainstar had all nine lives, she shouldnt worry at all.

Okay. Bed time for me. I'm exhausted. Sorry, guys. You can either hang out on the beach or go back to camp to sleep. xD ]]

[Yeah, im leaving too. Goodnight guys!]

Ryepaw walked over to Dewpaw.
"race you back to camp?" he asked cheerfully.

Dewpaw nods and takes off. She was fast!

[G'night you sleepy furballs!]

Ryekit was supprised by how fast she could go and quickly took off after her. he wasn't even close to catching her as he dodged trees and jumped over roots.

Dewpaw leaped over bush and log. She was an apprentice now! She didn't care anymore that she couldn't be a medicine cat. She slowed slightly, making sur she was on the trail.

Ryekit managed to catch up a bit when she slowed. he was panting hard by the time he was only a few tail-lengths behind her but he didn't care. they were both apprentices now!

They neared the entrance; The agile kit- no! apprentice! puts on a burst of speed, trips, picking herself up quickly and making it through the entrance at the same time as Ryepaw.

Ryepaw burst through the entrance at the same as Dewpaw. and slid a couple mouse-lengths before coming to a stop. he was breathing hard and had to wait a moment before he could speak again. he laid on the moist ground for a second before panting, "your... really... fast."

Dewpaw nods to Ryekit, and starts to the nursery. Then she stops, and with a leap, bounds into the apprentice den instead! You can almost hear her mrrow with delight. ^-^

[Got to run errands with parents. Bye!]

Ryekit laughs and follows Dewpaw into the apprentices' den. he finds some soft moss in the corner and takes it over to Dewpaw before getting some more moss and creating a nest next to her's. Ryepaw flops down in his new nest and closes his eyes.
"Dewpaw? i'm really happy were firends," Ryepaw tells her as he slowly drifts off to sleep.
(okay! see you tomarrow! :))

Dewpaw nods, purring gently. Exausted, she settles down into the soft nest, and falls into a deep slumber. The other cats quietly pad into camp and curl up in their own nests. Outside, the crickets chirp, and in the distance an owl hoots. Stonetail closes his eyes. *Goodnight, RainClan.*

Shinestorm sat near the freshki.ll pile, eating a mouse. She thought about what training she would do with Pearpaw today. Perhaps just some hunting.

Amberlight smiles as she headed into camp. /Wow, I have an apprentice....!/ she thought.

Dewpaw [Eeep! Not Dewkit anymore!] was sitting outside her new den, watching the dark clouds overhead.

Ryepaw got up out of his nest and streched. it took him a second to remeber where he was. he padded out the entrance and into the crisp morning air.

"morning Dewpaw!" Ryepaw said waving his tail in greeting, before heading to the freshk.ill pile.

The new apprentice smiles at her friend, and walks with him to the pile.

Ryepaw smiles back at Dewpaw as they walk to the freshk.ill pile. when they reach it he choses a shrew from the pile and sits a little ways away, eating slowly as he waited for Dewpaw to join him.

Sorry I wasnt on yesterday, I was busy... Probably wont be on tomorrow, too.]]

Rainstar stretched and padded out of her den into the light rays of morning sun. Thunderfear emerged from the warrior den at almost the same time. Seeing his sister, he smiled and grabbed two mice from the freshk.ill pile and bringing them over. They sat and talked for a while and they laughed frequently, Thunderfear's sounding loud and bellowing compaired to the chime of Rainstar's. When Pearpaw emerged, the two greeted her. She saw that the two were eating breakfast together and decided to join them, racing to the freshk.ill pile. However... She was supposed to feed the Elder and Queen before she ate, since she was an apprentice. Since she was up earlier than Dewpaw and Ryepaw and it was their first full day of being an apprentice, she dropped a mouse carefully beside a sleaping Streamstep and a vole beside Acidstream and her adorable kits. She came out and looked to Rainstar, who nodded and smiled. The older apprentice then took a mouse and bolted over, sitting and eating with the two.

Suppose I'll just go draw until someone is on. :3 ]]

Dewpaw wakes, so worn out from her tour of the territory yesterday that she had slept in. Surprised she scrambled up. She looked at the sleeping form of Ryekit, wondering if she should wake him up.

The three cats talk, laugh and smile, then share tongues after their meal.

She decides not to, and trots out of the den. She sees the three cats together, but she leaves them alone. She heads oner to her rock, and climbs up.

( @reshi: i was wondering, could i make an old warrior she-cat? if so i was also thinking that, since we're a little ways into the rp, one of the clan cats could find her in the forest. a bit like how Firepaw and Yellowfang met. would you be ok with this idea?)

Pearpaw decided to go for a hunt to burn off the energy from her meal. She stretched, said goodbye to the two and padded out of camp, enjoying the scenery.

As she settles down on the boulder, sge watches the older apprentice leave camp alone. *I probably shouldn't leave like that until I'm a lot older, like her. Rainstar said I need to be accompanied by a warrior..* She sighs.

The apprentice returns a while later with two mice and a plump vole, placing them in the freshk.ill pile.

Stonetail, yawning, walks out of the warrior den, having slept late again.

Both Rainstar and Thunderfear turn and smile at the warrior.

[Sorry guys! I would have been on early but I had homework.]

Shinestorm sat by the freshki.ll pile. She saw it was pretty low, she decided to do some hunting. She didn't want to hunt alone though, and Pearpaw seemed to by out of camp. She wandered camp in search of a hunting buddy.

Ryepaw got woke up and looked outside. /oh Geeze! what time is it?! i hope Streamsong hasn't been looking for me!/ he sped through the entrance to the outside.

Raven sat on a rock beside the crossrocks in the hunting grounds, cleaning her paws after a sucessful hunt. she had "accidentally" crossed into Rainclan territory. /if they want to keep cats out then they'd pay more attention to their borders/ she thought to herself.

Stonetail nodded to the two siblings, and headed over. "Uh, is there any patrols I can join?"
Dewpaw looked down, and smiled at Ryepaw. She slid off the boulder, and trotted towards the golden colored apprentice.

Ryepaw paused outside the apprentices den and looked up. he sighed. good. it wasn't that late yet. he noticed Dewpaw coming over and smiled.
"good morning!" he said in greeting.

Dewpaw flicked her tail in acknowlgement. She jerked her head towards to fresh-ki'll pile, licking her lips.

Rainstar looked around. "Hmm... I dont think so..." Thunderfear's tail twitched. "I can go with you on patrol, if you like." He regretted the words as they came out, but Rainstar's smile that came after made him feel a bit better about it. "Good idea," she nodded.

Pearpaw wandered around. She was bored... She saw Shinestorm and dashed over. "Hello, Shine! Do you wanna train or hunt or something?" She meowed, purring happily. 'Finally, something to do!' She thought.

On second thought, I think I'll just go... Green, you can take Thunderfear on the patrol if you like. Skittles, you can take Pearpaw. Sorry for ditching you all so suddenly...

Ryepaw nods, "sure, but the elders and kits have been fed first right?" he fretted looking around a bit he saw the others eating already. relieved he nodded to Dewpaw again and followed her over.

Raven finished washing, got up and streched. she'd been here way longer than she'd expected. it only took one young cat poking around and she'd have to move again. she got up and silently walked off into the trees, melting into the shadows.

Dewpaw nodded to Pearpaw, grateful that she had fed the others already. She picked a squirrel, and settled down to eat.

"Ok, thanks." said Stonetail. "Ready?" The other tom nodded, and they set off for a border patrol. He left Thunderfear to his thoughts, not wanting to bother him. The grey tom knew all too well what he was going through, because he felt much the same. Stonetail decided to head off in the direction of the crossrocks.

People need to be more active! I understand our Medicine Cat is on a trip until today, but TinyRain is never here!]]

Stonetail stared at the rushing river before him, surprised at the force of the water. "Wow..." He murmured.

I know, but I'm way older than you guys and I have lots of plans and responsibility. I'm on as much as I can, but see, today I'm seeing a movie with Jace. I try to be active, I really do. But its hard when you have a lot of things to do besides Colors.]]

[Yeah, I get really busy some weeks too. But being homeschooled, I have a lot more time on my hands, I guess. It would probably help to have a deputy, though. At least, when I was leader of a clan, it was nice to have the help. ^-^]

(sorry i haven't been on the past few days, we had to go take dad's car to the dealership and then pick it up the next day. the closest one is in a whole other city and it normally takes half a day to get there and back, so by the time i got home it was around one in the morning. also i might not be on tomarrow either because our friends from Florida are visiting for a week so we have to get the house ready.)

Ryepaw took a shrew of the pile and sat beside Dewpaw. he watched the other cats moving around the clearing. /i wonder what i'm doing today/ he thought to himself.

Dewkit devoured her squirrel, and licked her lips while she waited for her friend to finish. She checked the sky, unusually cloudless. But she had an idea that there would be rain in the evening. *Well, I'll enjoy it while it lasts, then.* She thought.

Ryekit finished his shrew and stood. after streching a bit he glanced up at the sky. the sun was setting. time had just flone on by today.

Pearpaw awoke to the sound of rain hitting the ground and trees hard. Was there a storm outside? The apprentice stretched and peered outside the den. It was pouring! But she had to go and hunt and give Acidstream and Shadestep their freshk.ill... She huffed and darted out into the rain, heading for the entrance to camp.

Thunderfear heard the rain and rolled over. It was about time that a storm arrived. Thunder rolled loudly in the clouds. Camp was probably empty. It was still early, anyways. He decided to stay in bed a little longer.

Shinestorm awoke suddenly to the loud crash of thunder. She bolted up, frightened. She looked out of the den to see it was meerly raining. She groaned, it was time to get up.

[I thought I'd offer an idea... We don't seem to have many active medicine cats so if there is a time where we need one I'd gladly make one, like I did in GlowPack.]

RainbowCraft just got back from vacation, so she should be on...]]

Pearpaw returned to camp with two mice. She left one for Acidstream and the kits and one for Shadestep. She took shelter near the trunk of a tree and groomed herself.

[Ok! It was just a thought]

Shinestorm staggered up on her four paws. She took a few sleepy steps and padded out of the den. She was careful not to trip on any sleeping cats.

If RainbowCraft doesnt come on before Sunday then you can make a Medicine Cat character. If you do that, I'll have to ask Green if she wants to make Dewpaw a Medicine Cat Apprentice like she wanted. If youre okay with another Apprentice, that is.]]

Pearpaw saw her mentor and smiled, motioning with her stubby tail to join her.

[Whatever you'd like Lex, I'm fine with that!]

Shinestorm smiled back at her apprentice. She padded over to her through the rain. "Hi Pearpaw!" She said cheerfully and took a seat next to her.

[be back in like thirty minutes]

Pearpaw beamed. "Its storming! Isnt it nice?" She looked out at the cloudy sky cheerfully.

Dewpaw woke up. *Wow! Still raining, is it? Well, I'll go hunting. Rainstar said to stay close to camp, so I will.* She gets up. Enyjoying the rain on her fur, she races out of the camp, leaping over logs and dips, filled with water. *I bet the river will be completly flooded soon.* She thinks. Turning her ear, she picks up the sound of a starling, sitting in a patch of long grass and reeds. She begins to stalk it, and when she was close, she pounced. Catching the bird in her paws, she gave it a swift bite to the neck, and left it in the reeds to pick up later. She continued on through the dripping forest, happy as a beetle in a rotting log. She was glad to help her clan. She enjoyed being a warrior apprentice more than she had expected to. *Well, maybe this WAS what I was meant for. Hmm..*

However... I think I'm deleting TinyRain from the RP. Instead of Amberlight apprenticing Dewpaw, I was going to either get Rainstar to mentor her or the new Medicine Cat Skittles makes to mentor her, since we have a new Medicine Cat Apprentice spot open.]]

But its all up to you. If Dewpaw likes being a Warrior and wants a mate in the future, then Rainstar (or another open Warrior you wanted to mentor her) will be her mentor. If she really does want to be a Medicine Cat like she always wanted to be, then Skittle's Medicine Cat will mentor her instead. The choice is all yours, Green.]]

Shinestorm watched the flowing river. It was extremly high today, she kept her distance

Ryepaw woke and streched out in his nest. /i think i'll wait here a little while/ he thought to himself. a huge drop of water worked its way through the room and fell right on his head. /on second thought.../ he pushed up out of his nest and walked through the entryway. outside he felt a little more awake.

Raven sat, with her fur plastered to her sides from last night's downpour. in a tree near crossrocks watching the water from the storm drain into the ocean. she was on the wrong side of the river. the Clan would probably catch her. she loosened her grip on the tree branch. there was no way she could outrun an entire clan. she sighed. today was the day, if the water didn't die down soon she'd be caught. the thought oddly conforted her, finally she could stop running and hideing from everything.

(oh, that was way longer than i expected. XD oops...)

Pearpaw was wandering alongside the river. This could be bad. The only places to hunt now were the forest around camo, around the Moonpuddle and the ocean for fish...

Raven looked over the area. no one was around at the moment. she continued to stare at the water. she wondered what was going to happen when a clan cat found her. she'd fight if she had to. she hadn't fought anyone in a while and was itching for a decent squirmish. her brother had fought her often, sometimes for real but mostly for just a little fun. she always felt like he was with her when she fought, protecting and supporting her. suddenly out her left eye she saw movement. what she'd thought was part of the forest was actually another cat. she steadied herself, trying to be still as possible while crouching, muscles tensed.

(man i really need to stop making these so long!)

Dewkit awoke, finding that the other apprentices had already left. The she-cat rushed outside.

Ryepaw paced around the clearing, trying to stay out of the mud. it took forever to clean mud out of his pelt. he decided he should go do something besides walk in circles and headed to the warrior's den to look for Streamsong.

[I need to think about it a bit. I think her character has changed a little, so I'm not quite sure yet if I want to change her back. But having an open medicine apprentice spot may make others want to join. I think putting up a new sing-up form might alert more people about our Clan, too.]

Stonetail padded out of the Warrior den. As he stretched his muscular body, he noticed the new apprentice Ryepaw approaching. "Hello, young one!" The grey tom called. Now that the rain had stopped, he was feeling unusually cheerful.

"oh! hello!" Ryepaw said, stopping in front of the grey tom.
"good morning!" he dipped his head in greeting."i was wondering, did you see my mentor in there? i would like to go hunting and i wanted to see if he would take me."

"I beleive he went on a border patrol. He woke up early today." Stonetail answered. "But after I eat, I'm going out hunting. You could come if you want."

Dewpaw saw that the kits and their mother were awake, so she hurriedly went to the fresh-k!ll pile to find them something to eat. She picked up a large dove, and carried it to the nursery. The little apprentice placed the prey next to the queen, and bobbed her head. Then she turned and walked over to Ryepaw.

"okay! thanks!" he said cheerfully."i'll go wait over by the entrance tunnel."

Ryepaw noticed Dewpaw coming and waved his tail. when she came over he smiled.
"would you like to go hunting with me and Stonetail?" he asked her.

"Ok." Stonetail smiled. [I need to go eat, I'll be back soon!]

Dewkit nodded excidedly.

Sorry I poofed. I finally cut my hair short and it looks great! :D ]]

Pearpaw sat down by the base of a tree, watching the river. Crossrocks werent even visible...

Raven saw the cat sit down at the base of the tree and watched, still tense. the cat was a lot younger than herself, probably one of the clan cats. maybe she'd leave soon.

Raven jumped down a branch, accidentally making it shake around. she grabbed on tight, she had never been very good at climbing. a couple branches snapped off and fell on the other cat.

Pearpaw flinched. "Ow!" She called out, glaring spitefully at the branch that had hit her. She looked up, expecting to see a squirrel. Instead, she saw a shecat, but she spelled unfarmilliar. She jumped to her paws and hissed. "Who are you and why are you on RainClan territory, mousebrain?!" She yowled angrily.

Stonetail finished his squirrel, and trotted over to the friends. "You want to come too?" He asked Dewpaw. She nodded again. "Ok. Ready, then?"

"of course!" Ryepaw said following Stonetail and Dewpaw through the entrance tunnel.

"Let's head down to the river. I bet a lot of prey was uncovered by the flooding river." Stonetail says as they pad away from the camp.

Gah. So bored... I think I have an art project to do...]]

"oh, i'm sorry!" Raven hissed back. "maybe your clan should learn to pay more attention to their borders!" she tried to look menacing, which was hard to do when your a soaking wet matted mess off fur, but Raven could sometimes pull it off. she assumed that the younger she-cat wouldn't back down though.

"Well maybe you should learn to respect the territory of others! We mark our boarders daily, so you had to have known it was ours! Come down here and fight me, you flea-ridden rogue! We'll see how tough you really are!" The apprentice dug her claws deep into the soil, barring her teeth. She could take a rogue by herself... Right?

Raven launched herself off the branch with a yowl straight at the younger she-cat.

[I'm here.] As he came to the river, Stonetail saw that the banks were overflowed, but the water was sinking steadily. By moonhigh it would be back to normal. Then he heard a loud yowl. "What was that?" He said. Dewpaw perked up her ears.

[Hhh.. i'm sorry but I guess i'll leave the RP... ; _ ; I'm obviously look beyond unresponsible to you guys... I haven't been here for a single rp... I just never know when they are going on.. [[I never figured i'd be a good rp'er anyways so whatever]] This rp looked/looks like lots of fun and I hope you find a medicine cat worthy of being in this clan.. ;v;]]

Ryepaw lagged behind the others as he rushed to catch up he spotted a small mouse on the roots of a nearby tree. he aproached from behind until he was within pouncing distance and jumped, snapping its spine between his jaws. after hiding it beneath a bush he ran to catch up with Dewpaw and Stonetail.
"what's going on?" he asked when he finally caught up to them.

[You're right! More people came to the Gatherings thannanything else. Although I only had my Clan for 6 months, it was fun.]

(^six months is a pretty long time though!)

Raven gasped as she was flung against a tree trunk from the force of the younger shecats back leg kick. she'd aquired several cuts from the fight already and the were both breathing hard. Raven dropped to ground gasping. she wasn't as young as she used to be. her tail flicked a bit in annoyance. she looked up at the younger cat.
"you win," she gasped. " i guess i'll leave as soon as i can walk again." the water level was down, so it shouldn't be that hard to make it back across the border, right?

Ryepaw strained his ears but couldn't hear anything. he looked along the bank for signs of other cats. still nothing. "maybe it was just the wind?" he asked stonetail.

(i could probably get a few people to join this rp if we need more people.)
