She was k!lled by a fox last night.

Suzhou was a sweet little Silkie chicken whose life had been cut short. I'll always love her. :(

We actually have some of her eggs, and we hope to incubate them. By some slim chance, we might have some of her offspring to remember her by.
Sigh...

I love my chickens, but so do predators. It's always heart-wrenching to see one go. I'm not tough enough to raise livestock...
